@coffeeandsugar20 eMachines are awesome.. if you know how to care for them. Nothing wrong with an eMachine. Fine computers at a reasonable price. I've known guys with similar systems (spec wise) already have to replace theirs.. while mine keeps chugging along.

@mlthomp1981 I agree my parents have an all original p4 3ghz 1gb ram 160gb hdd from 2007 when vista came out and nothing is ever wrong with it.

Awesome that such an old machine nearly beat Win7. Also, even with a faster machine, Linux takes longer to boot than the Mac.

@MarioZeldaPokemon My MacBook Pro boots up Mac OS X in about 30 seconds, and just over 12 seconds to boot Ubuntu 10.4 :D

@MarioZeldaPokemon What planet are you from? lol. Ubuntu boots in 20 seconds on my Compaq Presario Notebook haha. Macs dont boot that fast... lol
