is this a breach of copyright, using a music video clip eg lady gaga alejandro, than putting a remix of the alejandro on top of the original song of the video?
@djdenentertainment I've been trying to figure that out myself as well. The DVJ is considered to be an instrument, capable of performing live "production" and playback of materials that can be manipulated with the DVJ1000. With that said, you would be creating a unique version of the original track/ video, which is legal under the creative commons act. You aren't being paid to play that track, but for your performance. It's a whole different story though if you just play the video or song
@epohnopulse i guess we could use the visual effect and cut n paste of random video clips. But i did find out that in Bollywood they dont really care, a few djs such as DJ NYK who works in thr have used thr remixs on the original video. but thy not sell it, just promo n club use.
still not sure abt American Policies as they are not as clear. But we can, as djs like dj earworm have used it for mixtape which are on youtube.

@epohnopulse straight through without "editing" or mixing the video/ audio at all.

DVD-R is more universally compatible but the DVJ-1000 will play either format.
