Ohmigoodness! My chinchilla, Gizmo, does that same thing! If you put him near the stairs he'll run up and down them for hours! He would probably do it all day if you let him!

My chinchilla loves the stairs its just up down up down up down. They say if you ever lose your chinchilla to get a treat out and they'll come out. Nuh uh never gonna happen with my guy
