I was so pissed when i beat the game and had all the bonus characters only to find that after the closing credits and cutscenes, that there WASNT a new game plus option(for those that dont know what newgame+ is its when you cant continue a new game with all the equipment/level from the previous game cycle.) Still a good game nonetheless, just remember to save right before you you get to the final parts of the game, that way you have everything you can possibly get up to that point.

At the start of the game Balthier picks up the Cache of Glabados and disappears for a few chapters, when he comes back he doesn't really say where he was. It's believed that Ultima's death managed to bring him back to his proper time and place. (FFXII is roughly 1200 years before FFT.)
