  • Only you and I know!! You can't go on getting your own way-you know it will get you someday!!!!!!!!!

  • Always great

  • This is some great concert footage! Can you please tell me if this concert is commercially available on DVD?

  • I saw this great musician at Santa Barbara, with the Grateful Dead, Little Feat, and The Allman Bros. He was great, then he was actually wearing a 3 piece suit......

  • Took my wife to be to see Dave @ the Iron Horse in MA. Dave & company made it a GREAT evening. Someone at the mixer console kept changing the volume. Dave stopped the show and yelled, "QUIT FU%$*NG WITH THE SOUND!!"

    Thanks for posting this!

  • I heard the original recording from back in the seventies the other night at a friends house. We all jumped up and started dancing like it was 1975. What a great dance number. This version, although very clean and musicianship great, is just a bit too slow for all of that.

  • The "old man" can still play!

  • Actually saw him at the NJ balloon Fest back in 2002. Best concert ever! It was free with admission...

  • good vid. just love dave! got to see him many times in the 70's in philly

  • homeless dude is playing and singing pretty good

  • I love artists who wear sweat pants and t-shirts on stage and just JAM! So much better than flashy outfits and choreography for me. I'm in it for the MUSIC!

  • How is the guy playing acoustic guitar with Dave?

  • @robhog100 If you are asking WHO is playing acoustic guitar, his name is Johnne Sambataro. He tours regularly with Dave.

  • I have 2 of his sunburst vinyl records...i asked Dave how many were made...he said 100k were pressed....Long live Dave Mason!

  • danced at the Lexington Queen in Tokyo, 1980 Roppongi District, together with the whole entourage ..... such fun .... such fond memories....he is a great, fun guy, all class.

  • Why does the drummer have the logo of Yamaha half cut off ?I like Gretch myself but Yamaha is not a bad drum LOL

  • I still have the mulit-colored LP...bought it new. These are quite rare now.

I never saw him "back then". What was I thinkin' ?

I have tickets to see him local..CAN"T WAIT !!!

  • I met Dave a few years ago backstage after a gig he did in the bay area with Jim Capaldi. I asked him about the multi-colored vinyl on the Alone Together album. He explained it was supposed to represent a sunset. Amazing album, great musician. dh.

  • @77syzygy I still have a copy of the original Alone Together.

  • Yikes!! What happened Dave? Talk about changing your appearance over the years.

That guitar looks like a giant carnival sucker...

  • OMG, is that Dave? Wow, I guess some people really change over 40 years...

  • dave needs help with his wardrobe

  • talke about underrated and not heard of ... pure talent baby

  • All they're missing is Bonnie Bramlett and oh-what-a-fine-night it would be!

  • hes still got it super dave

  • Long Live Dave !

  • Another great timeless song!!

  • "At age 18, the Worchester England native teamed up with Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood to form the legendary band Traffic. At 19, Mason penned the song "Feelin' Alright". This song has since become a rock and roll anthem, having been recorded by well over 48 artists, the best known version being Joe Cocker. The group's profound influence over rock music remains unquestioned even today."

  • Thanks!

  • Just saw Dave Mason tonight at the State theatre, and it was just like this , Fantastic!

  • Saw you guys in Scituate Ma. in August. They were awsome!!!!!!! Reminded me of college, when we wore the record out

  • That's my bud Johnne Sambataro on acoustic rhythm and back vocals, and he can smoke on lead as well. Johnne was Rick Roberts' replacement in Firefal for 8 years.

  • The album was called Alone Together and I believe it was released in 1970. Check wiki for details.

Every song on it is great.. well worth having.

One of my all time favorites.

  • oh YEA - SOME GREAT ARTISTS WERE ALL OVER THIS L.P. TOO , A GREAT YEAR...

  • where (and when) was this recorded.

    Beautiful.

    Thank you!

  • Nice....always liked how Dave did this on the "Dealney and Bonnie & Friends" album, featuring Eric Clapton.
