  • Every time I see Pittsburgh I i feel so happy I miss my hometown

  • ive been living in pittsburgh my whole life so its kinda weird when i hear that our accents are funny or different lol... i think that we have the "standard american" accent...there are some words that we pronounce differently but you'll find slight variations in pronunciation wherever you go:)-

  • @akumu102 you are wrong...travel more

  • @kazoopilot - if you doubt the authenticity of the accent as presented here (albeit a bit exaggerated), watch this video: a9eJbAE1XpM

  • Hilarious bcuz the whole time I'm like, " they don't have an accent..."

  • So I showed this to my girlfriend, who is from the midwest and has never been to pittsburgh. After watching she goes " I wanna laugh, but I can't understand aword their saying." What a jag off.

  • pixburgese n nat. rilly.

  • I live in Pittsburgh. Born & raised. I do have an accent, but only when I say "down". Like, I say "y'all" instead of "yins". But "n'at" is a big part of my vocabulary. Oh, & "water", "washer", and other "wa-" words.

  • we do not have an accent...i dont hear what them jag offs are talkin about..

  • Love this! :)

  • I. LOVE. THIS. Whenever I'm feeling homesick for da 'Burgh, some Greg and Donny make it all better! And yep, we really do sahnd like dat. Except unlike Gina, we'd never call people jackasses. Everyone knows, it's JAGOFF

And bahns is Bounce. As in fabric softener ;)

  • WHAT IS BHANS

  • @kazoopilot ummm no we really truely honestly sound like that

  • greg and dawny ;)

  • LMAO! SO funny!

  • @asamabinmaro yeah, I was wondering why they didn't have her say jagoffs.

  • "I'm bored widdout you here greggy, I have a coupla glasses, wanna put a shelf up" hahahah

  • I spent a week in Pittsburgh. Some reallllly blockheaded folks out there. I'd give it another try though. One thing though: they gotta give up this insistence on saying gyro with a hard 'G' and a long 'Y'.

  • @zapwatt I can't stop and I live in Georgia now lol. I never knew that was a Pittsburgh thing.

The funiest thing is the fact that I am the only chilean who lives in jtown. And when I go other places they laugh at me cuz I have an accent but is not the typical latino accent; off course not!! is da yinz plus the polka plus the latino plus everything else!!!

I myself im a melting pot only for living on the friendly city! Lol.

Haha, Congrats on the ifc achievement guys!

  • everyone knows that Philly is the best. lol

  • this is sooo hilarious! Lived in ATL for four years and still have my accent....ppl ask me all the time where I am from

  • The pittsburgh accent is annoying

  • HAHA 2:03 :DDDD

  • I've been living in N.J. near Philly since 1977 and still haven't lost my accent....I still get people asking me where I'm from. This video cracked me up - too bad you didn't imitate the Philly accent, though - that would have really been funny.

  • it's pittsburg :)

  • HAHAAHA I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!! you all are brilliant. pixburgh forever.

  • lmao this video kills me every time i watch it...it's funny cause i know people that talk just like that and i know if i'm not thinking about it i'll talk like that too ahahah

  • Yinz are hilarious! I know all about those Philly people. When I went to Penn State everyone made fun of me for my Pittsburghese.

  • I was born and raised in Pittsburgh; our family moved away to the NYC area when I was 10, and I have no discernible trace of a Pittsburgh accent now, but I sure do remember what it sounded like. (Some family members kept theirs alive and well to this day.) This is one of the most entertaining, clever things I've seen on YouTube in a long time. Great work! Brilliant!

  • @Moldrid1026

Exact opposite situation here. All of my great-grandparents were from Egypt and immigrated to Queens, their children, and their children were all born and grew up there. Then my parents moved to Pittsburgh when I was 10, and in a month, I actually found myself missing the language that my grandparents spoke that I once found ugly.

  • "Sonsa bitches is what dey are."

Love Kim Cea. Such great work, guys.

  • imma proud of my accent, hmm, but i never knew i even had one until i visited another state and someone pointed it out

  • PLEASE PLEASE do a Part 2...I wonrked on Jwanstuuun fer tin yars...and beein from the odar side of Altuuna da thawt I tawked funny. Lets all go Dawn tawn to gat sawm Pernamis sammies, Remember its Pop, not Soda.

  • I have never heard a Pittsburgh accent, but this is hilarious. Sounds like a strange mix of Canadian, Midwest, Southern and Irish.

  • why did she say jack asses at the end and not jaggoff??

  • I like the Ferndale sweatshirt. Nice touch.

  • Very funny fellas. My wife and I laghed our faces off. My one year old daughter too (she loves Greg) i found you on my Roku player and I wanna see a movie in no less than two years. Please keep up the good work.

  • why is everyone in the comments confusing Jtown with Pburgh?

  • everyone makes fun of my "accent" and i love the fact that yins put this up =] pittsburghese is nothing to be ashamed of, but rather to be proud of.

  • Yinz people up there on the mahnt'n talk even funnier than us dahn here.

  • This video makes me want to eat chipped ham.

  • @GillesUnchained or a jumbo sandwich wid a gumban' aroun' it.

  • @GillesUnchained Chipping makes it hammier, fresher... tastier.

  • I'm from Eastern PA. A friend of mine grew up near Johnstown--Tanneryville. Even though I'm a "jackass", I would never make a cruel joke about the misfortune of people in the '77 flood, which pretty much wiped out Tanneryville, PA.

    Google "Man, WV".

  • You guys, I just found out about these videos. You're nuts. Was gone from j-town for 35 years. Back now. You're making me cry. Too funny.
