Yeah. As long as ya have a few mushrooms (just in case) and you've taken a bit of time to level up to at least Lvl 3, you shouldn't need help.

At that point in the game, such assistance is overkill, anyway. Seriously, ya might as well just give Mario the Lazy Shell weapon while you're at it. (sheesh...)

I did this without debug or cheats, it happened in my snes (not an emu)

i dont know how that happened

but the diference is that i was already defeated the hammer bros, and it was invisible, it just started to talk,

That's because all the characters got hacked in at their starting stats, and you get Geno later in the game then you do Mallow.

umm can any one explain a bit of the story of this game, never played it and a bit confused at whats goin on

Basically, at the beginning of the game, Toadstool gets kidnapped by Bowser, as usual. Mario goes to rescue her, but a huge sword called Exor crashes into Bowser's Keep after you defeat Bowser. He takes over the castle, and separates Star Road into seven Star Pieces. Without them, wishes placed upon a star can never be granted. So yeah, you have to haul your ass across the map to get 7 star pieces. It's really amazing, if you can get a copy, I'd highly recommend it.

If the person hasn't beaten it before. But, let's say you've beaten it many, many, many, MANY times, the normal way. Would it be unreasonable to mess around with cheats for purely entertainment value then? I think not. I agree with you on cheating to get through a game, but this was a completely different case.

I just thought I'd let you know that I agree with that, under the circumstances that the person is actually using the cheats to play through the game. Now, let's say that I'm doing something like, I dunno, just messing around, and making a video? I believe that this would be completely different from using cheats as an actual advantage during gameplay. Besides, this game was actually so easy, that if someone *needed* cheats to beat it, it really would be sad, now wouldn't it?

It also tells you what the enemy is thinking. Since Hammer Bros. are before the ability is available, they could be a problem.
