  • Dogs are NOT suppose to be eating all vegan crap! It's hard enough on the human stomache! My mother is a doctor and she's had several patients DIE from LACK OF PROPER NUTRITION. Especially dogs- it's bad enough they don't get to choose their food, but having give them non-meat, the MAIN part of a dog's diet! You may think they like it because they ate it, but what else can they do? They don't wanna starve!

  • @MarineEverGreen guess what? they only like the flavor.. like most of us humans do ( i dont) and it can have the same amount of vitamins and everything and a better flavor.. those people who died is because they dont know how to eat.. seriously! as the author of the video said USE your brain RASCAL!

  • @MissRenesmeePretty Better flavor?! No one here is a dog! It may taste good for humans, but I don't recall dogs being able to talk.

  • @MarineEverGreen Dog's can't talk but they can show, my dog didn't eat her food which was meat based.. because I was an ignorant like most of this ppl here.. then I bought the vegeterian/vegan one and she ate it all, and she never leaves anything lol so I told my cousins to buy it and their dogs enjoyed (sorry if thats wrong but im not american) it as well..

  • @MissRenesmeePretty My friends dogs tried veggy treats and they HATED IT. It's like dogs and chocolate.. they may like it... but that could kill a dog.. ...and people and toothpaste..? I've known people that liked the taste of toothpaste and ate it.. they went to the hospital afterwards... o.o

  • @MarineEverGreen Umm.. I don't know if you knew but vegan pet food is healthier, so it actually wouldn't kill the dog, And some veggy treats are nasty.. as the same with some meat based treats, there's is variety you know.

  • Someone should make a pet food that sources it's meat from humanely raised animals. Animals who are raised outside and who are able to live a life of happiness. And when it's time for slaughter, it should be done as quickly and with as much respect as possible. Animals should live long happy lives and die quickly and peacefully. I bet that would bring a bit of peace between the veg's and the meat eaters. We should come up with a solution in a positive way.

  • @Jen2848 I'm sorry to say this, but there's no way.. it doesn't matter if it's killed with respect or not, it's KILLING! Hello? Death should be something that comes naturally..

  • @MissRenesmeePretty I was just trying to make a suggestion for the meat eaters. To make them choose meat from a better source instead of factory farming. We can't convert everyone but we can try and make it better for the animals who are being used for food. I'm just trying to be openminded.

  • @Jen2848 Hmm.. smart choice... lol well it could be a possible solution :)

  • 15 minutes! Wow!

  • Why on EARTH would anyone feed a dog a vegetarian food??? Avoderm makes some great foods but, geez, people shouldn't pawn off their "anti-meat" biases on their dogs. I read a study put out by Cornell Vet. School regarding vegetarian foods. The study overwhelmingly came down AGAINST them. Any idiot who can read should understand the biological values of protein sources. Grains are WAY down the list. Eggs have value of 100, corn is 46 so dogs can use less than half the protein in corn.

  • @jocwalk

    shutdup~!

  • @jocwalk If the process of meat production was natural people might continue to eat it and feed it to their pets. Why do you badger the people avoiding the plague because you enjoy it? Question about your your scale.. Are antibiotics, hormones, and diseased meat included in the biological value? Because none of those are biological and neither is the process of meat production in our country or dog food. Americans are not in the worst health for no reason.

  • Nature intended dogs to eat meat. Just look at their teeth. Sometimes I think man does more harm than good with our "big" brains.

  • @fourtywpm

Yeah right. "Nature intended,,." What an epic comment. Nature intended to live in living rooms with about 21°C as most owners do. And to walk on a ledge. Then of course nature intended to let dogs wear coats ???please??? and to eat filthy rests of the meat industry that are not sane for humans. Afterwards nature intended dogs not to bite children and only shit in place where the owners want them too.

  • @greenwoodonearth lol you so funny! I think people who make their dogs wear clothes are idealistic. What do wild carnivorous animals in africa and all over the world eat? You guessed it, meat! If a dog bites someone, it's in their nature to. Check out some animal documentaries and you'll learn a lot about the nature of animals, they're all over youtube btw. If you think dogs aren't meant to eat meat you're one of the most idealistic people to ever exist lol

  • @fourtywpm

Thx that I made you smile. It makes my day :D To make it short. Wolves are dogs. Domestic dogs are also dogs. If byting people is in domestic dogs nature AND you want the dogs to live their nature, you got a very sane oppinion. All dogs should byte humans. Mmmh. Sane, sane. That's, I think, a very common oppinion.

    NOT

If you say dogs, it could also be wolves. Concerning domestic dogs, there is no need to feed them meat. They are omnivores. BUT ONLY if you know what you do !!! CAUTION

  • @greenwoodonearth Here's the thing though, because we're at the top of the food chain, we must help to protect ourselves for our own survival which means training dogs not to bite and making wild dogs our pets. That's just how it works, now I only believe this is necessary with dogs in our society, there's no need to do it with wild dogs that don't bother us. Again since we're at the top of the food chain we have to do what is necessary for our own survival.

  • @fourtywpm

Well, I am not feeding some vegetables to a lion. I have a dog of my own and I !!! am his leader. And he does what I want. We are veggies ;D and almost all the time we cook, the domestic dog wants his part of it. There are a lot of other facts. But in the end its possible to feed him vegetarian, so he will be a vegetarian dog. Nothing about it. I love my dog. I would not do it, if it was unsave. Cheers and a happy new year ;D

  • @greenwoodonearth I believe the Europeans said just about the same thing when they arrived in Africa and enslaved all the natives.

"Do what I say or die," thats the motto you live your life by then? Or just how you view your dog? It's not too surprising that your dog will partake in your meals, after all you've starved him of all essential.

  • @DanielEBurnette

    Again...intelligence hits the stage. :D

  • @greenwoodonearth Again... another useless comment.

  • @greenwoodonearth You are aware that behavioral and anatomical biology are different right? Even so what your saying doesnt even make sense. You used the term "domesticated dog" which is a non feral animal. They, by nature, shouldn't bite, just as by nature they should eat meat.

A human isnt born knowing how to speak, you teach it a language. That doesnt mean you can feed him feces and rotten apple cores... except by your logic.

  • @fourtywpm Thank you! All these pretentious vegans imposing their beliefs on their dependent pets. So pathetic...

  • @DanielEBurnette

Ok you win. But I think, I would really have to punish my dog more that he is almost as much punished, as the animals that land on your plate.

Common. If you love exclusevely dogs. Go home and marry one.

  • @greenwoodonearth So you're saying that two wrongs make a right? That, because, someone mistreats an animal gives you a right to mistreat your dog too? Your well of wisdom knows no depths, tell us more oh knowledgable teacher.

  • and u psychos call us cruel for eating KFC. no dog deserves to eat this shit. every dog is a hunter, a meat eater.

  • @FlamingFury5

use your brain rascal. dog don hunt. they depends on mostly humans help. now scram and get lost

  • @ngothyeaun False. Wolves, coyotes, dingos, jackals; all hunt for food. "Food" being meat, they don't grow vegetation, till land, and pick berries.

  • That's the most pathetic sight I've seen all week!

On can only hope that the beast has retained a little of that wolf instincts and still has enough strength to bite the owners throat when they sleep and feed on their carcasses!

  • @fenriz218

its because you are rascal. now shooo..

  • Maybe you should buy a sheep or cow if you're so crazy about vegetarian stuf. Don't be cruel to your dog! Some people need to be tested before they buy a pet. Grrr.

  • @felisdomesticus5676 vegetarian dog food tastes better than dog food.. I'M SERIOUS! and I'm not vegetarian.

  • i just saw the ingredients....garlic???onion???as far as i know these are high toxic for dogs....potatoes???sorry but i think something is wrong

  • Haha, love the music and how you feed her.

  • Very cute video! Thanks for posting this!

  • thats cool music......name of the song plz??

  • what's the difference between vegetarian and vegan? which one is easier to do? I'm debating about one or the other for myself :D

  • Vegetarian = no animal flesh

Vegan = no animal products (flesh, breastmilk, eggs, honey, etc)

  • dogs should never be fed vegetarian diets. It's not me being controversial or whatever, it's a matter of biology. Just because you are a vegetarian doesn't mean you should force it on an animal who by nature eats meat!

  • I am not a vegetarian, I am a vegan. Did I use force to feed or did she eat by her own?

  • she had no choice X(

  • @ rathie321,

yes she has, she could walk away and get food from meat eaters, but here when SHE appear on my door step every night for vegetarian meal, even a dog love vegetarian, human are just plaint ignorant.

  • There are several animal nutrition books that actually discuss about the benefits of vegetarian diets on companion animals, like Dr. Pitcairn's. Dogs by nature also do not wear collars, get annual vaccinations, receive daily meals, etc. Our domestic canines are far from what we see in 'nature'. And true, they have always been eating meat sources. However, even in 'nature', they have always been omnivorous scavengers that eat meat/fruit/vegetables.

  • Very true. Unless there is an allergy/serious digestion issue, dogs are omnivores and have no benefit from doing this, except to appease their fanatic owners.

  • @ trulyheaven777

she is now eating EVEN BETTER Vegetarian diet AWARD WINNING.

Natural Balance Vegetarian Diet, google it ignorant sleepy soul ( thats you yes since you called me a fan )

  • LOL she's like, I'm a carnivore lady, what is your freakin problem!?

  • I don't mind if she hunt. If I am feeding and if there is vegetarian dog food available. I will feed her vegetarian food for sure.

  • Well I hope your supplementing with raw egg yolks(no whites) and yogurt at least, since those are both vegetarian foods.

  • I don buy eggs or yogurt. Anyways all my dogs and her is eating Natural Balance Vegetarian Formula now. Its the award winning under vege category of course 2007. Google it. It's the best.

  • Wonderful to hear that. All of my rescued dogs are raised on vegan meals, and the improvements I've seen in their health is remarkable. Contrary to popular beliefs, domestic canines have omnivorous diets. All of the amino acids they need can be maintained with vegetable or meat sources.

  • pet food has been pricing up in 2008....15-20%up....

  • She just wanted you to hand feed her:-)

She was playing coy. Good to know that there are responsible pet food makers out there.

  • Another great video, man! You always do a really good job, but I think the editing here was professional quality. As always, the music fit the images very well.

I'm not sure I've seen this dog before. Does he/she have disabilities, or does he/she always eat lying down?

    Anyway, I love you, bro!

  • I apologize for my question. For some reason, I only saw the dog eating while lying down on the first view.

I should know by now to only comment after viewing twice!

    Again, you rule!

  • Not to worry :)

A neighborhood lady did provide her shelter but she preferred to wander and roaming around. She will sleep below my apartment and sometimes at night she will walk up since the neighbors are all asleep she will sleep inside a booth ( cupboard ) with some hard board. I do not want to make an obvious scene to the neighbor that I am feeding and giving her shelter. I wish I stay in terrace house with compound.
