  • I saw them at my local surplus store in UCP or Coyote Brown for $29.99.

  • amazon has this vest for like 15 bucks and u can buy a combo pack that includes this vest, side pouch, and magazine pouch for 36 bucks

  • i really want this vest and i might get it

  • so the standard issue us military lbe vest is not aplate carrier? huh?

  • @jabara83 The MOLLE II FLC Vest is worn over Body armor but i don't see it a lot. It's worn over the IOTV usually.

  • Nice commercial .How much molle stuff they give you ?

  • I love this thing over plate carriers/body armor.

  • how much dose an ar-15 cost?

  • I just baught this off eBay for 5 bucks, free shipping

  • I am a huge fan, thank you so much for this video :)

  • Wth happened to $29.99???

    Its $69.99!

  • I too bought a MOLLE II vest off ebay a while back, and although the molle attatchments are rather spendy, I just buy like one a month off ebay for like $6, more than affordable. But i agree with you, this is the absolute best vest i have ever owned as far as tatical gear is concerned. Beats the hell out of the old alice styles

  • nice deal. but dont got a AR15 or AK

  • do you use this for airsoft?

  • Just checked it out on battleboy surplus, 69.99 with no patches!!!! It fit my budget and I was going to use it for boy scouts. I'm pissed

  • I was MP in the military and alot of my buds enjoyed this vest alot for their regular duty load (cuffs, mag pouches, light, whistle etc etc)

  • I'd like to have one with either an attached or detachable camelbak-type hydro pouch on the back. Does anyone make them?

  • im 16 and i love going to surplus stors i bout mine for $25 just for the vest and i couldent figure out how to adjust the waste but i just needed to know where the tabs were and i figured it out. it is very simple once you figure it out! thanx for the vid

  • i wish i found this video a long time ago :( lol i spent a lot of money on both my molle vest

  • just checked battleboy....

NOW $59.99 for vest only. What happened to 29.99?????

  • I can't believe civilians can buy this stuff...

  • @djraptorx Why not? If you pay taxes, you have already payed for it anyway. They should be giving it to the tax payers, not selling.

  • I see this vest everywhere near where I live. I wish I could find one in black or solid green instead of digital. :/

  • i was wondering am like 6'3 how can i get it to go longer not wider

  • dang my local store called fleet farm has these for 29.95 with mag pouches

  • @werno175

How far out in the sticks are you? I have trouble finding non-biker combat-style boots in mine!

  • I was issued one of these when I arrived at my first unit, I had been given keys to a room in the barracks. Lone and behold another soldier left their old one in here as well. So now I have a spare to attach all of my AK magazines too!

  • He just a sales man for one of the websites and you can get the vest at your local surplus store no doubt

  • now just set it up so you dont have to use the zipper and clip in the front.....

  • i got this vest for 25 dollars used at a military surplus

  • i want this :D

  • cheaper than dirt has FLCs for 16 bucks...

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad its useless to our troops who wear body armor with molle loops integrated. It also defeats the quick release system on the new IOTV.

  • The mag pouches that come with this vest do not accomodate magpul pmags. Other than that it is a good vest

  • The mag pouches that come with this vest don't accomodate magpul pmags. Other than that it is a great vest.

  • Wow 79.99 from battleboy? I think that battleboy is ripping people off. Just got my whole entire setup for 47.00 dollars free shipping brand new with all mag pouches. The seller is carpecaseum on ebay. You can thank me later. Stay away from battleboy.

  • you can get the vest cheaper on ebay

  • Exact Set up i had at infantry osut...In case your curious the flick (FLC) blows

  • @markanthony1985 yea i dont even bother with the flick the otv works just fine hooah

  • great video

  • I got a desert camo one with no pouches on eBay for $17, great quality vest.

  • Oh one more thing, does it hold G36?

  • Thanks for this video man!! THIS REALLY HELPED decided which whether to get one of those! 5/5!

  • ow man the ar's not included

  • Im toatally gonna pick one of these up Ive never heard of Battle Boy but Im going to save up and purchase one of these bad boys That is and incredible deal all that stuff for about 70 bucks!

  • I was at Mills Fleet Farm with a friend and was looking for an ALICE pack and stumbled upon this west with all the pouches, but didn't have a price on it. I got it for $35 w/pouches! It is indeed a quality vest and I agree with Sooch 100%.

  • You're a good salesman. Hopefully the next generation will still have 'em.

  • I got all of this for 30 dollars on cheaperthandirt

    They're sold out though

  • these are on sale at copes distributing for 39.99!! i just got mine from them !

  • Thanks for the vid sootch00

I have a question: If you want to wear the FLC but you also want to add camelbak-style hydration on the back, will you be able to attach a molle hydration pouch + bladder? Or do you wear a dedicated backpack over or under the vest?

(I'm not about huge rucksacks btw, just small 3L pouches/backpacks)

    thanks

  • just bought this vest from fleet farm today!

  • Very cool thnx! What about the straps on the back are they supposed to be loose or tight?

  • how do you adjust the waste of this thing? THe one i got in the mail would fit a 12 asian boy.

  • @grayparatrooper There are adjustable straps on the waistband in the back. The straps are "T" shaped and fit into the Molle Webbing. It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. Thanks~

  • @sootch00 Are those the Stiff little things on the edge? They got white plastic and they're hard, Does it slide out? i bought a full set on ebay and obviously it was set up for a smaller guy than i am.

  • Comment removed

  • @grayparatrooper

Besides the "T" shaped adjustments that Sootch mentions there is also a belt and some buckles concealed inside the front of the waste of the vest. The "T" shaped adjustments will only extend so far and then you have to loosen the buckles inside the vest's waste. If you loosen those buckles the waste belt will expand enough to fit large bodies. I'm 6'3", 250lbs. It expands enough for me to close the zipper over a winter coat with plenty of slack left over.

  • the flc sucks balls, the zipper fucks up eazy and all the load is on your shoulders

  • Sweet. Just boight one on Ebay for $7

  • I got this exact setup in ACU off eBay for $50 shipped with all the pouches. It didn't come with the radio pouch. That radio pouch looks like it'd make a good dump pouch with just a little sewing. The canteen and grenade pouches are less useful than the 2 mag pouch. Can you recommend a good chest mounted pistol pouch?

  • Thanks Sootch. I just ordered a vest for 29.99. The discount worked also. I think next payday I will buy the complete kit. Good Deal!

  • Great review Sootch! I bought one of these a few months back in DCU (three color desert camo). Great quality, materials and construction for the money.

The DCU was a little on the bright side for Missouri, but a little Green RIT dye and a 5gal bucket and its a light sage with coyote highlights in the camo portion.

Didn't get pouches with mine, but I've been using a multicam carbine/pistol molle loadout I already had, very happy.

  • very nice!!

  • Great vid. Just received my FLC Molle Vest and was less than $30. Wow. Most places sell them for double, triple, quadruple the price. Used the discount code also and it worked. Thanks sootch00!!!

  • Absolutely brilliant revue on this vest. Really looking forward to more gear revues.

  • mine digs into my neck alot i wish they would have kept the sholder straps from the enhanced load bearing vest but i was desinged to be worn with the IBA so what ever

  • sweet. i kind of thought you would. looking foward to it.keep up the great work.

  • just subscribed...thanks for all you do..carry on!!

  • that looks like a really good system. but i am wondering about will that molle 3 mag fit on one side. i was wondering if you post another vid that would show some of the diffrent placment of the molle

  • @uglystick77 I'm planning on an update after I get the set-up like I want it. I need a couple of other pouches to complete the set. BTW, The 3 mag shingle fits very well . Many thanks~

  • I used the grenade pouches for other things, first one is a compass / first-aid and the other for a small tactical radio

  • Just got home and my package from Battle Boy was waiting for me :D Now i'm trying to figure out this molle deal haha. Thanks again for this vid Don.

  • @goodoleboy17 Have fun with the vest~ There are adjustment tabs on the back at the padded belt. Look like "t"'s. Took me a little while to figure out but not too hard :)

  • thanks sootch. Your right about the quality, I am impressed with the durability. Also, Battle Boy Surplus shipped this thing ultra fast! Worth the money!

  • OBAMA.

  • @LLAHSRAM49 .... is a LOSER!

  • @sootch00 lol thats a good one.

  • Great review and recommendation. Thanks Don!

  • Can u do a review on rifle slings by any chance? :)

  • $75.99 is a steal of a deal for all of that USGI gear! 5*****

  • Hi Don. Nice vest. Battleboysurplus has a lot of god gear.

  • good info brother!!

    5*****

  • Don where can I find the pistol holster attachment for this?

  • I was extremely impressed, saving up to get a firearm even though I'm not of age. It will be under my dad's name or whatever, until I'm 18.

  • Thanks for the 5%..

  • great deal, man. 5-stars!

  • Thanks for the headsup... great vid. just ordered one!

  • Great Review . 5*

  • will be putting my order in shortly

  • Bought one today at a surplus store for $10 brand new.

  • Wow that was a deal.

  • @micthewrencher I love getting deals! Great stuff~

  • Ya me too, was temped to buy up a bunch of them. It;s cool what you can find once in a while if your willing to snoop round surplus shops for a while.

  • where do you live, sounds like a great deal?

  • I found that one at a shop in Rexburg ID

  • here in portland or, just wondered, this deal a battle boy is good, just pulling the trigger is a little hard with the shipping it is like 94$, but there are alot of molle attachments, so keepin it open and trying to shp it careful. thnk you fr your response.

  • actually I picked one of these from a friend today new in the package, it is sweet, thanks brother for talking about this item......LLTR

  • i-Pod pouch that one I haven't seen yet and I don't think thats something were going to carry. lol

  • I think you talked me in to it sootch

  • " yeeyya,, i seen nutnfancy..... he don't know hayall"

  • That radio bag could make a dump pouch.

  • 5* my friend

  • you should do a review on the scope thats on the AR!

  • Great review.

I have one in OD and Dessert. The grenade pouch is spot on for a small set of binoculars. A quick stitch to close off the bottom of a 40MM grenade pouch and a AAA flashlight fits nicely.

  • I bought two of these. great deal.

  • i like you vids men......love it 5 stars

    thx for greats vids

    god bless the world

  • thx sootch, just bought one. know of a good site for cheap ar15 mags?

  • @jonald77 I haven't found a great source online but I picked up a bunch of 30 rd mags at the last gunshow for $5! Thegun show is usually the best place for cheap mags, I've been buying P-Mag or Tapco Polymer AR mags lately for around $15 each. Thanks Bro~

  • Anyone near Central Florida should check out Spike's Tactical in Apopka. They sell 30 rd P-Mags for $14. They have good prices on most things there as well. I built my AR-15 using most of their parts. Definitely recommend them. Great guys, service, and products. You can order online, but then you lose the deal by having to pay for shipping.

  • We actually have AR-15 mags we just haven't listed them on the website. We mostly sell them at gun shows. If you want some just go to the contact info on the website and give us a call. We even have original colt 20 round mags.

  • When i said 79.99, I ment without any of the pouches.

What brand are those main rifle mag pouches?

  • @HCDDWarhero It's made by the specalty goup which is a goverment contractor. it's quality stuff better than most of the aftermarket stuff.

  • @HCDDWarhero They are Military Contract Surplus by Specialty Defense. Great set-up. Thanks Bro~

  • Wow that same exact vest was 79.99 at al's army.

  • @12GaugeLosAngeles I respect your opinion, but I personally like Nutnfancy and TNP. I understand it's not for everyone but neither is my channel. No apology.

  • You need to try it with 8 or more loaded magazines in the front. The rear belt wants to ride up your back. This causes the back grab handle to push on the back of your neck. Balance it out with gear on the back belt of equal weight and the belt twists outboard. Due the narrow belt with only 2 molle rows There is a reason this is on the surplus market, they suck. sooth00 stop pimping this vest for Battle Boy.The pouches work great. Just put them on a full front and full back tactical vest. Gunny Z

  • Just gotta remember to distribute the weight. It works fine with my .308 setup. There are other vests I'd like to get but they cost quite a bit more.

  • Respectfully sharpie443, I see lots of descent basic full coverage vests for reasonable prices. Since you are shooting a .308, your spending the cash and have the cash to spend. You! have to decide whats important. A good system.alas, nutnfancy, wranglerbarn,USNERDOC, and sootch00..or that night out to dinner with your significant other. Save your cash..protect your family. A month from now you won't remember what you ate..You will have a the start of a great defensive system.Train hard..Gunny Z

  • $79 for all that new ACU molle stuff is a great deal.

You can get DCU for a tiny bit less if you shop around, but not much cheaper.

When the DoD dumped its DCU molle gear on the surplus market a couple of years ago, you could get a new FLC for 5 bucks and a fairly complete setup for 25. They're more expensive today.

  • battle boy has great gear but the shipping and handling is so high

  • Prices have gone up for shipping we don't have much control over that I'm sorry to say. In fact we've lost money a few times because of shipping especially when people buy stuff from us off of Amazon. I just orders a Glock knife and shipping was $12 so I feel ya on that.

  • i like how its all open in the back. that relly nice seems like in the summer it would really help keeping you cooler and less sweaty. military did a good job designing that. anyone know if that digital would work good as camoflodging in a woodland enviorment.

  • @MrMindfucker Thanks Bro~

  • @sootch00 No problem dude!

    Peace!

  • @SpcDan2004 That's right. Adding a bunch of extras is useless plus it adds weight and bulk. Thanks Bro~

  • Yeah I'd like to get rid of my crossdraw vest and get a molle vest with nothing but rifle mags on the bottom and a thigh holster for my pistol. Only problem I see with that vest is that I don't see a way to mount the pistol holster.

  • @smttysmth02gt You can use the Serpa holster S.T.R.I.K.E. platform to mount to Molle. Nutnfancy has his mounted that way. I am planning to research more options as well. Thanks~

  • Yeah but I want mine setup to use my thigh holster.

  • @smttysmth02gt

i am confused. are you talking it wouldnt work cuz theres no belt loops on the vest? because i am sure what ever pants your wearing you will have a belt on. just use that belt to secure the thigh holster to you waits.

  • No. Usually there are belt hangers at the bottom of a vest and you can put a utility belt on it and mount whatever else you want. I have a big knife, thigh holster, and a dump pouch on mine.

  • @smttysmth02gt

ah got ya. well with this vest you could either sew on belt hangers prolly wouldnt be that hard and mod it to work. or just use a heavy duty pistol belt that is narrow enough to fit threw normal belt loops on your tactical pants or bdu to hold that stuff.

  • It is easier and more comfortable when it's all on the same vest. Just personal preference really though.

  • Another great bit of information from sootch00. Thanks.

  • That's about what I'm carrying except my pouches are for my H&K G3 and i have a molle wallet.

  • That canteen pouch looks like it has more options than the old one.

    I like it.

  • DAMN! AR-15 not included lol :p

    Nice vid btw.

ceep one the good work m8 :)

  • Oh man, if I didn't already have a vest I would have picked up one of these. Great price on that.

  • Thanks for the heads-up sootch. I just placed my order.

  • Great review Sootch. I like how you make me aware of good deals. My 511 Tactical chest rig is on a FedEx truck right now.

  • @cattnipp Thanks~ You'll be very happy with the rig.

  • it is a good deal if your running an AR. what i dont understand is that there are millions of AKs in the word so why are there not that many good AK rigs. with this set up all you could run would be 3 AK mags as the triple shingle pouches wont close with an AK mag

  • @cbr6864 I agree. I've been looking for a quality AK rig for a good price but they're hard to find. I'm running the U.S. Molle now but I'm on the lookout for a good AK system and when I do, I'll send out the info. Thanks~

  • great find + good discount = A No Brainer

  • Great vid! Thanks

  • why would someone want this unless there in a heavy battle

  • Failure to prepare is preparing to fail. If you want peace prepare for war.

  • @nelsonboy707 A man of wisdom :) Thanks Bro~

  • hey cool i was just looking at this one :)

  • Lots of reasons. A load bearing MOLLE vest is simply a highly configurable vest made to distribute a lot of weight. You could use it for paintball, hiking, disaster relief work, or any number of other things. Just because it's military surplus doesn't mean you have to load it up with mag and grenade pouches. You could put pouches on it to hold gear, radios, first aid supplies, tools, etc.

  • @xmasman101 It's also great for 3-gun competition or emergency workers who want to carry medical supplies, water or other gear. But most buy it for tactical reasons. Thanks~

  • ★★★★★

  • Cool stuff - great review.

  • i like there website and what they offer just wish they had more od green. great video!

  • @TacticalGearReview It's hard to get Od green stuff. We can get uniforms and m65 field jackets but in turns of gear all we can get is the aftermarket. Our price on the aftermarket stuff would be the same as everyone else so were only just now getting into that market. We would rather sell quality gear at a reasonable price even if we cant have the same variety as the aftermarket companies just yet.

  • do u have the vest in black?

  • No, Just ACU pattern. If I find them in Black, I will notify you then they will be posted online.

  • Thanks for the shout out Sootch.

  • Thanks for the review again scootch00!

  • thats sweet
