  • What a great series!

  • Her nose is bulbous, her chin is masculine. You guys need to get out more if you think she's particularly good looking.

  • @TheKingdomofErnor you have ridiculously high standards then.

  • @MaMort Nah, I just don't think any girl becomes hot just because she's wearing makeup.

  • @TheKingdomofErnor you'd be the first to complain if they weren't wearing make-up.

  • @MaMort ... Yeah definitely, that makes a lot of sense, considering I'm the one who judges her looks based upon her facial structure and proportions.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheKingdomofErnor well if that's the case then you do have high standards, as she would be pretty with or without make-up on.

  • violin player is not that hot.

  • @RonBurgundy609 oh my god yes

  • those who cannot watch part 5 check liveleak.com/view?i=3b5_1277118090

  • @novi83

    Aint working:(

And well, here in Denmark we cant watch the "part 5" either.. darn...

  • haha i read the comments before watching the video and all i did was wait for the violinist the entire time

  • what's it's in Part 5 that my country (Malaysia) don't want me to listen???

  • (summary)

    fucking Sony.

No access to part 5 for Malaysia, Hungary, Sweden, Iceland, Greece, etc..

  • can't see part 5 in Greece too..

Anyone willing to give us another link or upload it again in their chanel?

  • I can't see next part (#5), It says that Sony .... stops it in my country, in Hungary! Do something if you can, please!

  • music that uses notes outside the diatonic scale is so much better than music that uses notes inside the diatonic scale

  • That is one lucky Violin.

  • Help, I can't see next part (#5), It says that Sony .... stops it in my country, Sweden.

  • @ledigheten

    Same here (Iceland)

I can't see the conclusion of this part because fucking Sony music doesn't want me to hear their music for free!

  • @3:59 nicola benedetti yumy-yumy

  • Im gonna have to SIItheviolinplayer'sB

  • Wow, suddenly I have a much greater appreciation for Mahler and Vaughan Williams.

  • The violinist will be my wife.

  • @cantfeelmyfaceLilJul He probably knows a lot more about music than you do, dumbass. Making a broad statement calling him a British jerk and a ginger in derogatory terms isn't much better than being racist. Then again, you sound like you would be one and therefore aren't worth anyone's time. You just needed to be put in your place, first.

  • Lucky Violin

  • The violinist is called Nicola Benedetti & i think she's from Scotland

  • That violinist have just owned you. You dumb pathetic sexism's slaves.

  • I think they should make a whole new series on the violinist.

  • I imagine a girl with fingers that dexterous would find it hard to find a man able to satisfy her as well as she can herself. She probably only dates musicians. Cos they're the best in bed.

  • @Dodlemcno dacers are the best ;p im a dancer ... everytjing is in hips;p rest is forplay

  • I think I just fell in love with that Vaughan-Williams composed piece of music at the end, need to check up his music...

  • i would love to stick it in her pooper

  • sweep picking! hehehehhe

  • These video's are very helpful but i am slightly confused, is a diatonic scale moving from minor to major, or would it just be moving through either a major or minor scale?

  • The diatonic contains the notes for both scales.

  • It means that some scale degrees represent two notes.

  • So it has some major and minor keys in it's scale?

  • Basically, it's scale that may be derived from modes based on the white piano keys. The will always be two semi tones and five tones, but they may appear at different degrees of the scale.

  • Diatonic mean notes from a specific key, eg, if we were in C major, the only notes that would be "diatonic" would be: C D E F G A and B, or all the white keys- any black notes used while in the key of C Major would be "accidentals". The reason we now call the major scale the mother of all scales is because 99.9% of all music fits into the Major scale. The modes: Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aolean, Locrian are all within the major scale, it just depends which note you start on.

  • @Alicaint oh right okay thank you i think i understand it now, it's just hard to get my head around it lol

  • @Alicaint you know the way it goes root.tone.tone.semi.tone.tone.tone.semi for major to play minor do you only flatten the 3rd note thanks

  • @longlivetheroses No. To play the minor scale, or the Aoleon mode, start on the 6th degree of the major scale and play all the notes from the major scale- So you'll be playing Root- tone- semi tone- tone- tone- semi tone- tone- tone or A B C D E F G A. Say if we were in C Major, we'd be starting on A and finishing on A because A is the 6th degree of the C Major scale.

  • @longlivetheroses or in other words to play the minor from the major starting on the same note you flatten the 3rd, the 6th and the 7th. What he here is talking about 'sharpening' from the tudors means you don't flatten the 6th and 7th on the way up, but you do on the way down.

  • Oh, nevermind it actually came on much later into the video, I don't understand because the loading bar didn't even get knowhere near the 3minute mark but utube still knew the song?

    whatever.

  • lol I got an advert up for ColdPlay - Fix you. The song obviously starts with the same notes. haha fucked up

  • @Kingpin0072001uk You really got no clue of how youtube works do you? Wait... did you even watch this video?

  • @whitefox130 I actually kinda just skim videos, it's a bad habit:(

Utube recognizes songs and then does it's normal advertising bit as usual to try and sell stuff for Itunes..... I just wondered why the popup came up while a different song was playing, and I was like jajajaja utube fucked up. but I was obviously wrong.

  • That woman is the violinist equivalent of Joe Satriani.

Although she's a lot better looking than Joe Satriani.

  • Look up Giles Apap or Ed Alleyne-johnson

  • @PotBellyShogun Joe Satriani suxx compared to her,get real!

  • @valkour22 false.

  • @PotBellyShogun Not until she does some dive bombs!

  • @PotBellyShogun Please, don't insult her by comparing her to Satriani.

  • @PotBellyShogun Uhh.... you must have never been to see an orchestra play. She's pretty good. Nothing special. Here level of playing can be obtained through about 5-10 or hard work. Joe Satriani's skill was given to him by the universe. He was chosen by the celestial beings he invokes when he plays his music. This woman is playing form sheet music.

  • @PotBellyShogun I was thinking more like yngwie malmsteen. But he may be wwwwwaaaaaaayyyyy to fast for that.

  • @PotBellyShogun Joe Satriani? I'd say she's a tad more talented than that schlock rocker.

  • violin player is hot.

  • @wubbs77 just shy of 19!!!!!

  • @wubbs77 Yeah, that violin player is probably not Bulgarian...

  • just fell in love with the vocalist on the handel song, but why does it want me to buy "fix you" by coldplay?

  • lol - there's no money in Handel

  • They play Fix You later in the video.

  • @andychrist9502 I have to agree there, what's her name?

  • What was the name of the violinist!

I saw a documentary about her once?

  • I Want to know too

  • Nicola Benedetti

  • I read somewhere in Stephen Citron's THE MUSICAL FROM THE INSIDE OUT that Howard Goodall conducted pit orchestras in the West End in the late 70's/early 80's! That proves why he is good at conducting the Northern Sinfonia! I'm so amazed at that feat (besides his soulful singing)!

  • More melody:

Handel song - showing modulation from major to minor, and a "landscape of highs and lows, hills and valleys" in the melody.

Relates Mozart and Handel to pop music.

Uses Mendelssohn Violin Concerto to demonstrate melodic development (modulation, elaboration, figuration etc. etc.).

Mahler / Vaughan-Williams et al. - reintroduced folk/modal melodies and drew on older styles.
