There are BIG differences between underdeveloped areas in China and the U.S. The U.S. may have dirt poor areas but NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING like the extremely poor and rural areas of China where they have to engage in subsistence farming and technology in these areas is almost non-existent (They have no T.V., no cellphone, etc.). China has developed quickly but there are large disparities from one area to another.
