Retouching is one thing. Retouching the cover of a magazine on a magazine that's all about "self" seems to me to be against the mission statement of the publication in the first place. It's like "Be comfortable with who you are, but we aren't so we use Photoshop."
I have no problems with Kelly, or Kelly being a bit chubby. I have a major problem with her being retouched, though. It seems dishonest.
i agree with you. its like your telling young women around the world that they will never be as good as these women. i don't agree with retouching a persons weight or anything. i wish the world would become united in sending a clear message you are perfect the way you are. the industry is arrogant. i cant even go out and buy clothes to fit my body type and i'm not even fat, I'm about Kelly's size and i can't find clothes to fit me cause they don't make them for my size. it's disgusting.
