To continue my last post, the mixed friend I was referring to happens to look a little like Joe, except for he has very straight brown hair instead of Joes's wavy/curly black hair. But then again, just because JB looks part black doesn't mean they are. It may just be their Jew/Italian roots.

Grandpa Butch may not be related to them by blood, but the Jonas Brothers still appear very obviously mixed (possibly black) somewhere down the line- perhaps through the Cherokee ancestors. Nick especially has that "mulatto" look to me. When he was little he kind of reminded me of Mariah Carey as a child (who is about 1/4 black). Boris Becker's and Ben Harper's sons, who are 1/4 black, also feature Nick. JB also reminds me my friend who is 1/4 black, but passes for white. He tans really awesome
