They've reused Fantasy Zone music in other games too, Phantasy Star IV for example.

when you go to the hunter's guild, in the back room behind the bar there's a stage with dancers. They dance to the theme from the first level of Fantasy Zone.

definately man...some tough moments in the earlier games though. SFZ is much easier!
