they'd have jeeps because any army would need them. The allies probably used theirs more often, though, and/or in a more offensive role.
The allies have had the Willy's MB and the M151, but the eastern bloc had the UAZ-469, which was very similar to our WW2 MB jeeps, or maybe a british landrover.
