If the acceptance of Christ is the only way to make it into heaven, then this mean there are billions of children (under 13yrs) in hell right now and more are going to follow----even if they didn’t have the opportunely convert to Christianly. This also mean everyone in the so called old testament of the bible went to hell as well...like Moses, Abraham…Adam and so on...If your god will send children to burn forever, then I think you need to do more research on your on your Beliefs, God Bless.

We're living in a strange time. Most Christians believe there is only 1 way to be saved, while other religions believe they have the only answer. If you ask a Christian, do you think god will send a child to burn forever? They probably going to say No, unless they’re a so called hardcore Christian and then they will probably say yes. The god I know would not send a kid to hell in fact I don’t believe god would send anyone to hell that didn’t have an chance to accept him.

I know infants go to heaven. I was trying to make a point that acceptance isn't the only way because god uses understanding for infants, young children, mentally disable and so on. So if God can use understanding for them, then it is fair to say god can use understanding for that person that didn't have a opportunity to hear about him... Do you really think god would send some 16yr old to burn forever without giving him a chance to be saved? The god I know is fair and just.

IT all comes down to this... is God real to you or not. If He really IS real, then what does that mean? Why would you want others to be worshipping a false God. If God said, "MOST people will go to hell." (Because in the Bible Jesus says that's WHY He came!) what would you do if you REALLY cared about others? I think what Oprah meant was that we all have different paths in life, no 2people are the same, which would = more then 1 way. We're all blessed with the spirit of God in us, if you stay true to that gift - love, you WILL reach God. Jesus came to earth as an example, to show us how we should love one another - only through HIM will you find God. Jesus is our vessel, that we too can shine our own light. Think of this as some1 telling u their secret recipe...now u know how it's done. God IS love.
Open your minds and free your spirit. Don't be mad at another persons views - the 'calling' comes in many different forms, embrace them. Be like Jesus...he's no longer here to be followed. And how to you be like him? the answer is simple - LOVE! Hence why they say GOD is LOVE. Or you can change it to suit. you ie. LOVE is GOD, GOD = LOVE, LOVE = GOD.

Just loving eachother will not get you to Heaven. You will either go to Heaven or go to hell. There is nothing else. Christians tell others that they are wrong because they know this fact. Imagine someone walking toward a highway with racing cars. I can love the person and accept them for who they are, but they are still going to get run over by a car or encounter incredible pain. In the alternative, I could tell them, do not walk into the street, and I would save their life. Bless you.

If the acceptance of Christ is the only way to make it into heaven, then this mean there are billions of children (under 13yrs) in hell right now and more are going to follow----even if they didn’t have the opportunely convert to Christianly. So if God can use understanding for them, then it is fair to say god can use understanding for that person that didn't have a opportunity to hear about him... The Bible say all have sinned, not one is perfect. That's why Jesus had to be an atoning sacrifice for mankind. The choice is up to us whether we accept his grace or not. It gives a detailed account about Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit in the chapter cleverly titled, The Holy Trinity: How 1+1+1=1. So to answer your original question, YES! Oh and Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses don't follow the Bible. They have their own doctrines that contradict the Bible. They'll tell you that they follow the Bible, but an in depth study will prove that to be false. Please research this and do not take any one's word for it. Start your own journey to God by getting to know Jesus. Don't you want to be SURE you are going to Heaven instead of just some STRONG guessing. Don't you want to be free of "doubt"? People shouldn't tell you how to live. Only God should tell you how to live. That is why they are saying, "it says in the Bible here"... But you do have a point. Sometimes the way people come across is really harsh and judgemental. We are to separate the "who" and the "do". The Bible says "Do not judge your neighbor", but you can RAGE WAR against the sin. God HATES sin because it hurts you. Sin kills and steals from you. God HATES what is bad, because He is LOVE. He's above our rules too.

IT all comes down to this... is God real to you or not. If He really IS real, then what does that mean? Why would you want others to be worshipping a false God. If God said, "MOST people will go to hell." (Because in the Bible Jesus says that's WHY He came!) what would you do if you REALLY cared about others? Just let them go through the motions of life with no REAL truth? I agree no one should RAM anything down someone's throat, but a "Hey! Let's talk!" should be ok.

Jesus had a certian way to get salvation and youhave to follow what he says. Read John 3:15-21 and Romans 10:9-14 and you will be explained the way he wants salvation to be. I think what Oprah meant was that we all have different paths in life, no 2people are the same, which would = more then 1 way. We're all blessed with the spirit of God in us, if you stay true to that gift - love, you WILL reach God. Jesus came to earth as an example, to show us how we should love one another - only through HIM will you find God. Jesus is our vessel, that we too can shine our own light. Think of this as some1 telling u their secret recipe...now u know how it's done. God IS love.

Open your minds and free your spirit. Don't be mad at another persons views - the 'calling' comes in many different forms, embrace them. Be like Jesus...he's no longer here to be followed. And how to you be like him? the answer is simple - LOVE! Hence why they say GOD is LOVE. Or you can change it to suit. you ie. LOVE is GOD, GOD = LOVE, LOVE = GOD.
You don't always have to beat yourself up - the answer's always right in front of your face. All we need is love, which is what Jesus represents.
