@wesntylol yeah pictures don't work because they are way too saturated with ink. I've seen someone do it with a comic though, you should try that! x

I do use rubbing alcohol to massage my caff or feet when I get off of work after a supper long day or when I go and party with some of my girl and it just helps kind relax the muscles

At least, that's what I heard, but seeing it gives you the same results, I guess it doesn't matter. Here in Spain I rock this look and every one keeps on asking me how I do it ! @CupcakeLuvurr ive seen another one, she said tht not all colors and brands will work. and make SURE tht ur nails are all the way dry. and then instead of putting the newspaper in the alcohol dip ur nails in for about 15 seconds, then put the dry section of the newspaper on your nails, try not to move it around too much, and peel off slowly.

@tibbysd about 20-30 secs. maybe sure you really get that newspaper wet and press firmly. It's kind of like putting on temporary tattoos :)

@mediator56 the rubbing alcohol will take off the shine of the nail polish, but the color will still remain. that's why you need a top coat for this :)

Rubbing Alcohol and Nail Polish Remover are two different things. You use rubbing alcohol to disinfect things and/or clean cuts or abrasions on the skin :)

@vitamiinzC In this case the rubbing alcohol is just used as a transferring agent to get the ink from the newspaper to your fingernail. I suspect it's used instead of water because rubbing alcohol becomes a bit sticky when it dries on hard surfaces so the ink stays intact rather than runs off straight away.

If I waited for my nails to fully dry, the newspaper wouldn't stick, so I just waited 5 minutes, dipped my finger in the rubbing alchohol, and put the newspaper on! :)
