i took the cat thing a bit differently, i think it is meant to portray mans seperation from nature, or the lack of understanding towards nature. it essentially means that man is no longer a part of nature - but rather almost like a plague to it. thus, for humans to procreate would be like spreading an epidemic. hence the title. but who knows, maybe i am wrong. i cant seem to find lyrics or else i might understand this song a bit better lol
