So to spice it up in the progression of the A D and E.. If you spice it up by playing notes in the same key as the I IV and V ? Like when playing the I , I can spice up the "A" key by playing any notes that sound good in the key of A? Same goes with the D and the E? Sorry if this is a simple basic question, but I am just trying to understand the theory to all of this..

Found this vid like 3 years ago. I think the guy is called Ben? Lol, but after a stupid string snapped - I fixed it... But, when another string snapped again like a week later I just gave up on guitar.

3 years later...I'm finally learning again and now have a strong desire to learn guitar as I should of done this properly like 3 years ago. Always lacked motivation in things. But anyway, the vids are always useful. I Never bothered paying for the songs though...as I find tabs easy. Love the vids
