knock down tyson quicker by using the same punch that he throws like when he punch right you punch right and the same with the left, that drains more energy

DTysonator (that's not his username here as far as I know) captured a round 1 TKO on his NES. So it most certainly is possible.

Sandman is a different story, requires crazy timing and the PAL version of the game.

I have knocked down Mr. Dream 2 times in round 1. The only thing I do different than you is I mirror his punches. If he throws a right, I throw 2 lefts. If he throws a left, I throw 2 rights. By just doing this I knocked out Mr. Dream 1:30 in round one, then again around 2:30. Give it a try. It's still not a 1st round tko, but it is closer.

Wolf is right. You can't beat Mike Tyson or Mr. Dream in the first round. All you can do in the first round one lonely knock down. I will be posting a video in upcoming weeks about how to go the distance with Mr. Dream.

The delayed single punch after the hooks is important too - I'll post a real-time vid here in the next few days. It usually takes me a few hundred tries to get it, but I'll have a live vid for everyone. The emulator is just for video quality - there's nothing not calibrated about it.

During his dynamite punches, I notice you always throw a left+right combo. If you watch closely, when he throws a left, your first punch doesn't take off any health, but when he throws a right, it does. If you threw a right first against his left and a left first against his right (proper punches), it would take off more.

Thanks man, I saw your vid. I've been working on the L/R thing as well as your delay strategy. While it DOES take off SLIGHTLY more energy, it's nowhere near enough to get 3 knockdowns in one round. I don't think you intentionally are misleading anyone, I just think your emulator is giving you a little lead in those Little Mac gloves. I won't believe Round 1 TKO until I see it done on a real Nintendo.

There are written strategies on how to do it. It comes down to timing delayed punches on every second punch that connects after dodging a dynamite uppercut up until the 1:30 mark. Give it a try, it's not a fraud, honestly!

I'm sorry dude, but your little theory that you read on someone's BS FAQ is a bunch of happy horseshit. Either post a video of it or get out. If this were true, then how come 1. Nobody can seem to post a video of it and 2. Someone who has obviously mastered the game such as myself can't even get ONE of these alleged specialty punches in? My video is the perfect Tyson fight, end of story.
