  • @ChakaKhanian yes thats showhow much black people are forgiving and loving just like the creator himself.

  • What's the name of this song?

  • did you know that Indians were European slaves misnamed as "gypsies" because they were thought to be from Egypt?

they were brought into 1400s Europe as entertainments slaves at first, then became regular domestic slaves up until the 1800s.

they became nomadic to escape capture. once emancipated, European legal tricks kept them from owning land, so they kept roaming.

Europe burried its slave history but a brilliant Puerto Rican journalist, Isabel Fonseca dug it up in "Bury Me Standing"

  • @sonbarably The Moors who conquered Spain then were thrown out of Spain by the Spanish Monarch kings & queens were also servants to Mary Tudor of England's family in Spain in the 1500's, 1600's. Katherine of Aragorn 's sister, Juana tried to get a love potion from a Moor.

  • Everytime...this song makes my heart cry even as a guy!. Music that strikes a chord with good-god filled & provided memories throughout your life &/or lifts your spirits because It's soul mineing HONESTY with NATURAL truth no visuals/ seduction just PEACE, LOVE, & TRUTH was the way songs & emotions were intended untill as the bible stated generations will wax more & more perverse. Alot of things start out beautifull but overall sickness & powers that be in this society try to curropt EVERYTYHING

  • Awsome movio and Afrigo has a great sound track which I heard live in 1991 at Lake Victoria near Kampala Uganda. Jim

  • does anyone know what song this is?

  • In 1991 I went to Uganda and heard the band Afrigo play it. It moves me as well and I lost my cassette 10 years ago. I am searching for the soundtrack and found this. I have not found it in Afrigo searches yet. Jim

  • Its "Mundeke" by Afrigo Band

  • yes awesome sound. Also the sub-plot about the father's lawsuit to return to his Kenya homeland.

  • Kampala is in Uganda. I lived there in 1991 and know the area. You can tell by the dresses. Afrigo is the band. Jim

  • Uganda homeland. Edie Amin expelled or killed almost all Ugandian Asians (Indians or Ma-Yen-Dees) the 1970's. The movie brought out the fact that there are tensions between African and Indian Ugandians which was still true in 1991. When I was in Uganda 1 out of every three people were infected with aids now only 6% have it because of there great president (Musevini) and Western Doctors (many were Gay). These people are heros because now people like Majic Johnson do not die from Aids. PTL
