And for those of you who think his speed limit commentary was wildly out of date. The 55 MPH speed limits weren't repealed until Nov 1995. This episode was first aired in Feb 1996. It stands to reason that when this footage was shot, repeal of the 55MPH speed limit was probably a hot issue being debated in Washington. The footage being aired 4 months after the interview and 3 months after the repeal of the speed limits is entirely plausible.

For those who don't live in the US, the speed limit has been 65 mph for a long, long time now. On the long straight freeways in the south this guy mentioned, the speed limit is 75 mpg, like the south part of R95. Also cops never pull you over for less than 10 mph over the limit, so the real speed limit is about 80 mph.
