  • Still my favorite video series on brewing. I think this is my 3rd or 4th view.

  • theres far more simpler ways to make beer found on youtube. calcium? wtf you dont need that. dextrose works just fine, use half blackberry honey with it if you want.

  • great vid thx

  • I NEED A REAL SPOON

  • thumbs up for weed as a supplement for beer!!

  • With wine, you just pitch the yeast into a fermentation container, not prepare it and activate it with all this nonsense.

  • what is the correct water to malt?

  • If you want to get away from all of those plastic jugs of water, use a Berkey filter. It is stainless steel and you can filter 99% of all impurities out of your tap water, and works by gravity. It is what I use for my brew! Plastic is poison...

  • Should i do a yeast starter for a 5 gallon batch?

  • beeeeeeeeer bellyyyyyy hahaa

  • Nice

  • very informative. music was too loud, annoying.

  • these song rock

  • this song was on monty python and the life of brian

  • always keep an extra towel near by......you wana get high?

  • Very pleasent video, and thorough. I make beer myself (current favorite: Porter/Stout). It looks like you have lots of fun making brew.

  • love the msuic, and love how u taste everything haha so good

  • Great vid, very instructional. I could do without the 1970's porno background music, but otherwise, AOK.

  • yo did u guys kow that hops and canibus are in the same family?

  • thats cool. people should post cool facts like that more often.

  • lool omg i have had a great idea , canabis brew

  • ok just a question. u say you need to get the water to 160degree Fahrenheit 5:28 and i think you might be wrong. you are adding what looked like allot of grain. shoudent the temperature of the water be raised to about 170 to compensate for the possible 10 drop when adding the cold grain? sry if my comment seems silly or is badly worded :D

  • You are exactly right. I made an error in reporting the starting temp in the video. 170F water will drop to about 153F after adding the malt, which is the perfect range for optimum alpha amylase activity

  • single fermentaion? and are you priming with the bottles in the fridge. great vid man. i have been researching to see if i think i can do this, i dont want to get in over my head and this has helped a lot.

  • i want a beer

  • LOL the song is great

  • When he's talking about getting the correct portion of water to malt to balance the PH, is it really 1.35 quarts of water to 1 pound of malt? I've looked around the internet for more information but can find anything. Is it correct?

  • i love how the narrator talks exactly like dwight from the office

  • Great stuff - I'[m truly inspired. My days of sobriety are over.

  • guys please help a NAVY VET out... I wanna know how to brew bad and want to know how to record the whole brew process to my hard drive... i am not trying to steal... if this process is on dvd i will buy it.. help an ol NAVY drunk out will ya?... help me fellow drunks... • Thanks! Brian is really the genius, he actually knows all of the science behind this stuff, and more!

  • Hey you guys know that I also played bass on all of the recordings in this video? Its my old band, Grasshoppers! I sing, I dance, I hula hoop, I brew beer, and I play bass, so this video is proof that I am a full-blown freek! he he

  • This is awesome!! You've really got your technical stuff worked out. When are the other 2 vid's coming?
