This has nothing to do with working hard, Socialism, Communism, etc. The vast majority of Americans work hard, that's kinda what we like to do. We die in wars, too. The hard work pays off/blame yourself rap is what the corporate masters want you to be thinking, meanwhile, they sent many, many jobs overseas, and don't pay fair taxes. Corporations are run by boards that truly exist only for profits and have essentially purchased Congress. Meanwhile, the actual people are no longer being served.

There are plenty of jobs out there, the problem is, most employers think that applicants want to come in and make their demands without providing any security on what they can put out. The "they don't want to work" argument by the people who oppose Occupy Wall St. is really the only argument they have, and it isn't a very good one either. If everyone could find a job, these protests wouldn't be happening in the first place. This movement is long overdue.
Mkay... I just want to set the record straight. I have been to the Occupy Austin Movement. I am a mother of 2, a college student, and I have a job. I have yet to meet anyone who has asked for any "hand-outs" other than asking for donations from the other 99%-ers who support them. No one WANTS to be on welfare... get a clue. We don't want the rich to pay more... we want the rich to pay the same percent. We want the banks and corporations out of our government. Why is that so hard to understand??

A system without PAC contributions at all, No personal campaign contributions, a system where elections start locally at county campains and meetings, then state, region, and national. We are demanding that all candidates get equal amounts of money from a public fund and spending or getting money from elsewhere is outlawed, this will get special interest and pork barrel spending out of washington.

What countries offer free college education? This really does make me curious. I know that Australia lets you go to college and they pay for it but when you get a job they will start taking it out of your paychecks until your college tuition is paid off.

People that are against the Occupy movements are the ones depending on mainstream media. Once you listen to the citizens speak, not corporate run media outlets, you'll see it's not about left/right wing supporters. The people protesting are democrats, republicans, independents, young & old.
Most importantly, these citizens are participating in general assembly meetings to address their various concerns. This is where the informed & uniformed citizens are COMMUNICATING to find solutions.
Banks pushed out millions bubble of gum-loans/candy knowingly would sour and the homeowners would eventually be faced with foreclosed. The FBI warred congress what would happen, however, profit verses the people won. Banks put our/their money in a scams which Wall Street fabricated to strip the world from it’s cash. There are plenty of jobs out there, the problem is, most employers think that applicants want to come in and make their demands without providing any security on what they can put out. A system without PAC contributions at all, No personal campaign contributions, a system where elections start locally at county campains and meetings, then state, region, and national. We comend people who earned their riches the right way as an example of how capitalism is supposed to work. What were against is those who make much of their money off of our hard earned taxes, or by creating laws that favor their businesses. What countries offer free college education? This really does make me curious. I know that Australia lets you go to college and they pay for it but when you get a job they will start taking it out of your paychecks until your college tuition is paid off.

People that are against the Occupy movements are the ones depending on mainstream media. Once you listen to the citizens speak, not corporate run media outlets, you'll see it's not about left/right wing supporters. The people protesting are democrats, republicans, independents, young & old.
Most importantly, these citizens are participating in general assembly meetings to address their various concerns. This is where the informed & uniformed citizens are COMMUNICATING to find solutions.

The teachers earn their salary from the state but we also have private schools funded by the state. Education from first grade to college/university is FREE! It WORKS! Duh!

@naybrann You're misunderstanding me. What I meant is that it's more than possible to have free education. It all depends on how the state choose to spend the peoples money.
I live in Sweden and we do have higher taxes here than the rest of the world AND our current government/politicians spend the taxmoney in a somewhat fucked up way but all in all it's a pretty fantastic country to live in. =)
