Wow ..all I can say is that these guys are another example of the 'who knows how far they could've taken things' club. I think that for 'that time' in music (the "I can look more like a girl than you" era) they were definitely one of the better bands.
I saw too of ther finale shows i guess. they were both in o.c. , dont remember where, but i do remember the second singer was singen, so it must have been close to the end. They were a great live band to see in the club setting. very fun.I bought this bitch a beer and she gave it to the bass player, but i dident mind because i had her giant real boobs in my hands and he was droolen....ha ha ha..very fun indeed.....
Salty Dog kicked ass. They should have been bigger for a little while at least. They had their own sound I thought. Better then the other bands from that era!
A great band signed to Geffen records...why didn't they hit it big? Had to have been the timing, kinda like a band called TheFront. But I won't forget them...
@Alexandernero666 Same thing with Junkyard. Both Salty Dog and Junkyard both signed with Geffen but just didn't go far with them. Definitely a timing issue. The grunge sensation was just around the corner. Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, etc. Both Salty Dog and Junkyard were a few notches above your average hair band. They deserved better.

One of the best Rock & Roll songs of all time. This whole album is killer. Just couldn't get enough of it back in the day.
