Seing this video doesnt make me understand the following:

Capcom said that they are not planning to let Megaman Join "Marvel vs Capcom 3" since he lacks so badly at close combat skills and capcom can only put in fighters with more abilities like punshing or kicking. then wth is this 5:08 ?!!!

I guess Protoman is not very bright when it gets right down to it. If he wasn't so dumb he wouldn't have fell for the trick of fighting hand to hand. And although Protoman's character in this show is cocky and sarcastic, he's obviously has no will to do as he pleases other than follow Wily's orders.
