E.L.F. Studio vs. NARS Review and Comparison

2. Sephora's website now has Nars trio (Orgasm Blush/ Laguna Bronzer/ Albatross Highlight) for $55 before shipping & tax.

3. I like Elf and Nars blushes about equally.

4. Elf Bronzer is dark for me to use to bronze, unless I pick up some powder on the brush before I pick up some Elf Bronzer. 5. The fact that Elf Bronzer is dark allows me to use it to contour. I can use Nars Laguna to bronze but it's too light to contour.

Only thanks to your comparison can I say that I love the subtlety of the Nars colors, but the appealing price point of E.l.f.. However, I have not yet been pleased with the quality of any E.L.F. makeup products, so them being a waste of money has been a rather unappealing money trap. Thnks 4 the great comparison tutorial!

I would much rather buy elf instead of NARS. NARS is a HUGE animal tester. They've killed thousands of animals by testing their products on them. But hey, whatever tickles your pickle:)

The Elf duo is very shimmery and powdery compared to NARS. The NARS duo has an almost creamy texture that feels more high- end, but I would not purchase the NARS one for $37!

Wow, there is like no difference in color between the 2. That is amazing, I still refuse to pay alot of money for NARS when I can get MAC or something else. ELF always seems to let me down with the quality and shipping...

Good review, but I will stick with NARS due to Elf does not last as long and you mentioned it was powdery. I only need a few blushes anyway. I have 10 and that is enough for me right now, especially during this recession. Maybe 2010 when I run out I will try some new ons. :)

The staying power isn't as long as NARS I find after the end of the day it has worn off and this is with face primer and finishing powder. Where as when I use my NARS it tends to last longer. Although for the price it's not bad. ^_^
