  • Make sure the front brake's on or it'll role away from you!

  • Before picking it up make sure it is worth it - in this case it isn't (harley).

  • This is not the way to lift a bike, it's the way to f@%k your back up. Stand facing your bike, grab the handle bar nearest to the floor and tip the steering so the front wheel is pointing up, then lift.

  • if you teach women how to ride bikes you should teach them how to pick them up :D

  • This is the best technique. But a couple of things: if your bike has fallen on it's right side (or the side opposite of your kick-stand), make sure you bring out the kick-stand first, then once you have it up you can simply lay it on the stand. Also, if you're on a hill, make sure it's in gear (with the engine off, obviously) so it doesn't roll on you.

  • title left out something, "how to pick up a motorcyle for feminem people"

  • lol, this technique is only for big fat bikes. I can lift my little 260 lb xt350 with no problems :D

  • Fatter ass than the wieght of bike...bike lessons for the 99%rs ..looooz

  • its sometimes hard to lift a bike when your fingers and harms are broken .

  • Please God keep them off the streets and into our beds..and less talking if possible

  • TheCrankaintdead That Fat ass Prolly as you put it, has got more brains and highly likely is a more supreme rider than yourself, your hot air shows poor control

  • That fat ass prolly weigh more then the bike

  • I don't know about any other actual riders here, but I normally press mine up. It's a track bike and has it's fair share of falls.

My adrenaline gets going, and I just squat down, press the tank and frame, and it's up.

  • Why dont they ever do this with sportbikes... ohh yea there so much lighter you dont need a class to teach you to pick up a bike!!!

  • I would laugh so hard if the kickstand wasn't down, and she went right over the other side. HAHAHAAAAA

  • @DipDop99 yaah nice thinking man

  • I've dropped my bike once, to the left cuz I made a total noob mistake and let it lean over without the kickstand down... This method probably would've ended up in broken plastic from grabbing the fenders and/or burnt hands, and possibly even damage on the other side from not having a right hand kick stand to catch it if i went too far.... so instead I just grabbed the handlebars and yanked it up :P

  • bet she would not have been as happy if the bike was hot from riding.... even through those jeans the pipes would sting a bit.... even worse had she not put the sidestand down and had gone all the way over on it....

  • uhm.... OK, this the lucky fall when your bike has engine protection bars and it felt on the right side. What if you have a super-sport and you fall on your left? :P

  • it wouldve have been fun watching if she forget to pull down the jack. hehe

  • Never dropped my bike, don't plan on it

  • You gotta be joking! Now what is she going to do if it is lying on its left side, machine and attach a new sidestand so she can pick it up using this ridiculous technique?

Put it in gear (yes, you can reach under the bike if it is lying on its left), grab the lowermost grip with both hands, and lift it up, driving with your legs.

  • but i doubt i could ever even try to pick up a harley.... x_x

  • @akl3g shouldn't be a problem, i've picked up my CBR400RR (approx 374lbs) and i'm about 115lbs.

  • Sigh

  • @akl3g its a Harley Sportster 883. Weighs a little over 565 lbs. You're Ninja 250R weighs 374 lbs. If you remember to use this technique for picking up your bike in the event of a drop, you'll be just fine. I weigh 120 and I can pick up a 500lb bike easily from a tip over. Good luck.

  • If the bikes falls at the other side??....Pick it up like this way,but dont stop...push it to fall at the "correct" side, then do it like the women at the video!:P

  • "How does it feel"

Feels like i've just picked up a fucking motorcycle...

    Fucken idiot

  • then it falls over the other way

  • now what happen if it fall on the other side were ther is no kick stand.

  • @SuperSouthside4life You just lift it high enough to reach the kickstand and using your leg, pull the kickstand.

    This is demonstrated in watch?v=1sP3cqKbOEs

  • lesbian: how's it feel?

girl: wow, its like lifting a motorcycle!

    lesbian: (poker face)

  • lol get you butt up xD

  • Well I have dropped plenty of bikes and never picked them back up that way. Must have been doing it wrong all these years...

  • i was fearing so much IT'LL FALL OVER THE OTHER SIDE!!!

then you get the same lesbo lady hitting on her "get your but up, put your hand on the strap"

  • what if its fallen on the other side?

  • @itube4521 whats why the kickstand was down so it wuldnt fall on the other side

  • @TheVitoCorleone yea i know,i meant what if the bike has fallen onto the other side, where theres no kick stand.

  • Hey i saw this a couple of months back. I finally got my bike and yeap you guessed it, I dropped it. Thanks to this video i picked up the bike with no problem...I ride a yamaha yzf600r and Im only 160 pounds, a heavy smoker (legal and illegal), and dont excercise..so your video is a favorite because it is a life saver....god forbid i didnt know how to pick the bike up...

  • the number one motorcycle injury in the world is a broken leg!

  • Why was I moving my ass in my couch like I was picking the bike up...?

  • @moNYTx cool! you surf the web sitting on a couch instead of a chair! :-)))

  • i think it is unpolite towards the bike to pick it up that way... also you should say sorry for droppin to the bike! and when u are sure that it still trusts you, and u havent destroyed the great relationship, you can pick it up again... if it forgives you, it will carry u home safe....

  • @xTime2Killx excuse me but the bike is a she not an it

  • @DeCreiziMatafoquer DAMN IT! u are right, my english isnt the best... i am sorry!

  • Good thing it's got that crash bar... Otherwise it would be time to replace the

sprocket cover, they usally break when dropped with mid controls.

  • Would be a little more useful if the camera view was from the front.

(No I'm not being horny, being serious)

  • I never knew people really had problems like this

  • noob

  • Wow!

    That's something good to know.

    Cool.

  • okay serious question, what do you do if the bike falls on the kickstand side (right side)? is it the same process and just let the bike rest once its slightly upright?

  • Thats a weird looking kitchen 0.o....

  • Sweet. I just watched this on my phone after I dropped a VTX 1800. Luckily I had it with me.

  • it'd be funny if it tipped the other way when she picked it up XD

  • That's how you pick up Goldwing. Not this kind of motorcycles.

  • i dumped my honda 71' cb 750 once. thought the stand clicked out ,it went in. went to lean on it and it went over breaking the clutch handle.i was so embarresed the lift up was automatic and easy. it was a 500 pounder. i now have an 80' suzuki 450L and 70' triumph chopper. my gramma could put those bikes upright. lol . this looks like a bad way to do it. face your bike, grab the frame and handlebar. for women, get a guy to come over and do it.

  • I'll have to try this some day. However... I have to say that looks like a great way to jack up your back. It also doesn't have any real control of the bike. Look at how you commit yourself to one (somewhat awkward) position. If you can't get a bike upright the time-tested standard way... then perhaps you shouldn't ride.

  • what if kickstand was on otherside?

  • @stonevrscx I was thinking the same thing, I guess you just try to not "walk it back" as much???

  • @stonevrscx

if the kick stand is on the lower side, you just push bike up until it's almost perpendicular and then use your heel to set up kickstand. Seen and, sadly, tested. also, gravel makes no problem at all. About only surface this technique is not guaranteed is very smooth and/or wet surface like wet grass or fallen leaves.

  • Iiiii dropped my bike a couple nights ago haha

  • HE may be the best, but he's still awful, Awful AWFUL.

  • MEN pick it up with their muscles not asses

  • @prchmonkeyKILLA Would like to see you pick up a bike that's freaking heavy...internet hero

  • Or just grab it with your hands and lift it up..

  • just make sure the side stands down! we dont want it being on the other side aswell haha

  • big but

  • I have to admit that I could not lift my 195 kilo sports bike using this method at all. It just didn't work at all. I just turned and faced it then pushed it up almost one handed. To sumerize I have not been able to get this method of bike lifting to work at all it just feels retarded. Also buy oggy nobs.

  • you people that are talking crap are morons. maybe you can pick up your plastic crotch rockets like a fallen bicycle, but when you're trying to lift a downed 950lb Road King, thisis definitely best technique. It the simplest, and safest way to prevent injury. My friend tipped his at a gas station (lame i know) and it took two of us doing this to lift the thing. obviously they chose a Sportster for a purpose, but you've got to admit that a small woman lifting a 550lb bike is impressive!

  • @emerican19 It's actually pretty hard to pick up a sportsbike. Even a 600cc can run you 430lbs stock (wet). Also, please don't think all ricers are douche bags. Just a lot of the ones on YouTube.

  • @LombardoJoe i agree, i have respect for all motorcycle riders. i don't look at someone and say "oh he's riding something different, he's an ass". i usually let their riding speak for itself. unfortunately, it's generally the sports bike guys being stupid out there. not too often do you see a large cruiser weaving through cars at 100mph, doing wheelies and running red lights, although it's been done. i look down on them just as id look down on anyone doing something dumb.

  • @emerican19 unless youre not stupid as fuck and understand leverage....

  • @87cigs What are you saying, you're big and tough because you've tipped your bike multiple times? How heavy was the last bike you picked up? I don't care how much you know about leverage or physics, lifting a 1000 lbs isn't easy no matter how you slice it.

  • This is stupid, if the bike falls with stand on other side?? And if you drive a Ducati the stand claps in when not on the ground.. haha.. so this will not work..

  • that was the dumbest way to do it. just fucking tilt the thing. geez

  • yeah and the it falls over the other side..ouch

  • now try that standing on gravel!

  • I bet TomBoeHMPdot is an awful redneck.

  • @TonyCH0 i bet he's the best redneck you've ever seen!

  • @T0H0E0G0A0M0E If you ever drop your bike, the technique in this vid works, I know from experience. They taught us this in motorcycle school. I've been riding some form of mini bike for about 40 years, I currently ride GL 1500 Goldwing. Be careful on the road, deer, gravel, rain, crazy car drivers etc. are all there to crash you. Be very careful about your speed, bikes can stop very quickly, I think this makes people complacent, never go toooo fast.

  • biatch way

  • who does that?

  • At LessPulp we are currently sending video clips to the TV Networks. If you have any that are crazy, funny, or plain original upload them to us. If the producers like them you get paid, it free and fun!

  • Ha ha,...the woman instructing says at the end,..."once you have done it enough." What?? I don't plan on dropping my bike and have no intention practising on picking it up. lol

  • Gee, girl! You've got the stuff!!! You're great! Better rider than me! Oh, boy!!!

  • You could get a crane and pick it up by the time she does that

  • this is painful to watch...

  • My advice is just use your man muscles always works for me :) forget the bitch way Lol

  • What if it fell on the other side?

  • @Alex0992 then you lift it until you can put down the stand with your foot

  • @Alex0992 You do the same thing?

  • Hmm. OK on a cold bike on a flat floor....

Good that it won't injure your back though.

  • Leave that bike alone, she´s just tired!!

  • You don't need to do that with sportbikes.

When I dropped my bike I picked it up just like you would reach for a jar or something.

    As light as a feather.

  • @Angelus12308 Not that easy for everyone, though. When I did drop my sport bike I definitely needed help. If I ever find it tipped again, I intend to use this method, I suspect it will keep me from needing to flail wildly and hope a kind stranger can help.

  • Can you demo that with an Electra or Road Glide?

  • nice ass

  • cock put you 125 down try putting van damme to the test women arsehole too

  • my old suzuki vx800 weighed 750lbs... never had a problem with... ok... in 6 years i only had to lift it twice...

  • all makes and models - ** freemotorcyclemanuals . net

  • i bet the lady explaining is a big lesbian..

  • @tomboehmpdot stop hating. Just because you are missing balls to ride does not mean women who ride are lesbians.

  • @tomboehmpdot - she sure isn't a small lesbian..

  • @boowhup i dunno she looks like a tough lady

  • @tomboehmpdot I think I might be as well cuz I like doing what they do ;)

  • @markinson72 dropping your bike or being a lesbian?

  • @tomboehmpdot and that's relevant because...

  • @Gronked no relevance.. just pointing out the obvious.

  • @tomboehmpdot not the obvious just your ignorance :(

  • @tomboehmpdot il bet a million dolars your a big fat ass which cant even lift a pocket bike u moron...

  • @tomboehmpdot looks like Ellen DeGeneres

  • @alissonguimaraes91 or Gary Busey's little brother

  • She lost too much time on picking up motrorcycle,,, Think how many sandwiches could be preapared by her in kitchen !!!

  • Terrible if you ask me... takes too long, the longer the bike is turned over the more gas gets in different spots that it's not supposed to be... if you ask me grab both handlebars, and lift with your legs and arms, not your back, works for me every time and I've ridden some heavy-ass bikes.

  • Problem with lifting the way demostrated is that the bike can then fall to the other side!

  • @abbyodo Yeah, the "don't forget the kickstand" step was skipped. :)

  • i dont see what gender has to do with this?

i just watched Alvaro Bautista and Casey Stoner crash out of the MotoGP in Qatar, and both of those are guys. women crash bikes, yeah. but so do guys.

I've often wondered how you'd pick a heavy bike up on your own if you curbed it, had no idea it was this simple

  • @ThomasOlano

Bautista , Stoner guys like 1,6 meters and weighing about 50kgs yeah;)

  • It's all good, but what if it fell to the other side... Does the same apply?

  • @GATVOLvirMALEMAseKAK Yeah surely you'd run the risk of damaging the other side.

  • So great, I see this AFTER I wrenched my back while lifting my bike this afternoon. Sonofa@$#@!! If there's a next time I'll definitely be better prepared! Thanks for the post!

  • farnafka is probably single cuz hes' been divorced 50 times. That or he has some beat up woman in the corner flippin grilled cheese sandwiches every 45 mintues for his gross ass. Who raised you? what a loser.

  • just don't drop it ...

  • women

first of all learn how to cook! without cooking you are unusefull

women can't and shouldn't drive cause it,s genetic. 46xx, man 46xy, first "x" is responsible for children, second "x" is responsible for cooking, cleaning etc like housewife, 'Y' is responsible for cars, motorcycles , driving,

  • @farnafka LMAO thats funny but wrong

  • Sounds quite sexual if you listening to the commentary without watching the vid :D oh yeaaaa giggiddy giggiddy

  • does this apply to sport bikes?

  • Helpful video. It'll make riding more accessible for everyone- kids, older people, injured people.. Good for you!

    And P.S.-

    Hey farnafka,

Your place is back in the classroom to learn how to speak English properly, you half-wit. Durrrrrrrr.

  • @CLloyd310 farnafka proberly cant ride more then a 125cc anyway an still manages to have trouble when he drops it thats why he's so upset over this vid cus a little woman picked up a big bike lol

  • Do it with a RoadKing!!!!

  • Looks like she never even drove a bike and picked it up!. U a-holes, If you get to ride into yer old age as I hope to, this tecnique may come in useful one day.

  • it's a 2 wheel .... what do you expect ! stand on it's own !!!

  • I'll be given you the middle finger when you eat my dust. I prepared it special for you farnafka!!

  • just pick it up from the handel bars and drive if u have some muscel, but if ur just a week littele person keep it in its place but take the keys till u get some muscel!! lol

  • tbf there are bikes that weigh to much for anyone pick up on there own specially the old 1000cc classics there like an iron gurder with wheels

  • @iamwooddude im a farm girl thare isnt a bike i cant man handel this being the fact i only whigh 130ibs stand 6foot tall and i can esaly lift my dads 2000cc harly but not like that

  • Typical women... Why not teach how NOT to drop the freakin´ bike on the ground in the first place.

  • Because everyone will eventually drop their bike.

  • @drbackjack Its just like they told me when I got mine... there is ONLY two type of bikers, the ones who have dropped their bikes and the ones who WILL drop their bikes.

  • @drbackjack I dont know if I ever have. I started off on a manual quad and had a wreck or 3 with that. Then moved to dirt bike. then on road 500cc bike then to a 650 chopper then a 805 then a 1000cc superbike and hated that then moved to a 1500 cruiser. Came close a few times but maybe since I took a few spills on my ATV the motorcycle gods thought I was ok..

  • If you haven't dropped your bike, you've haven't been riding long enough or hard enough.

  • @m9mentor You don´t have to get all sore just because you keep dropping your bike. There are lots of drivingcourses out there for you to join. Good luck!

  • @stein76 This also applies if some punk backs up and taps your bike with their car and you come out and it's on the ground. Bikes end up on the ground lots of ways.

  • was hoping it would fall over the other side

  • haha same here

  • where is the "dont buy a bike you cant lift up" seminar? Or the "weight of chrome only adds performance" section

  • my father have to learn it because he always want help from me when using my fazer =)))

  • learn to spell, stupid!

  • boze to je trapas prijdu a zvednu jaj...

  • ive been marshalling at motorcycle races for years and in all my time lifting bikes i have never seen anyone attempt to lift a bike like that. i would love to see her try that with a fireblade lol

  • lift a real bike, not a sportster.

  • how much does this bike weigh???

  • May be about 230kg. I don't like the way that video shows. If motorcycle is lying on other side, than you can't lift it like this, because it can flip again.

  • that's the same thing I tought about =P

And isn't it just to lift it up normally ?

  • i did i lifted a full dresser and im 15 it sucked it was so fricken heavy

  • lol i would laugh if she dropped it over on the other side.

  • no way, off course if you haven't pull down the stick to suport it, you are a beast!

  • Good advice.... all i need now is a bike.

  • sweet im gonna try this the next time i wreck in the middle of my moto

  • idiot, its called a kick stick

  • Gosh--if only all of us were as proficient as you are. I can lift a bike with my arms only too, unless its American. Try to lift a full dresser with your arms only, and you'll find it simply does not work.

  • haha, sry, i was referring to lrigydruh below! you did great ! she set the kick stick down for you, so it wouldnt just flop over. have a good day !

  • It's called a "kick stand". But who's arguing semantics? ^_^

It's the best technique for lifting a falling bike, but it doesn't work on all bikes for everybody. Some are easier picked up by the handlebars, especially if it's a taller and lighter (cross) bike..

  • haha i thought the bike was gonna go flying the other way!

  • hell if ur legs are as bony as mine you can piss this idea away.......I can barely squat and stand back up....much less pick up a bike with my legs lmao. it's all back and arms for me......hopefully i'll never have to test that on my zx-10!! :)

  • so your saying you cant squat 450?!

  • thats a pretty good way of lifting it, but.... what happens if you drop it kickstand side.....

  • you first need to have a big ass to help lift up the bike... LOL..

  • make sure to place ur ass on the hot engine as
