@CobyStanley13 Hey.....Great to hear you are going to get it going again! Probably just needs a carb kit. Good luck with it and thanks for your comment.
@austinax123 Thanks, austinax. It sure is a neat little sled to have. I hope to get a few more vids posted of some of my other sleds later this winter.
Ok, this is so cool because "you" took "me" for a ride on the 'ol 300. My dad bought a 1974 300 in '74 and because I still young ( 6-10yrs) I rode up front with my hands inthe vents to keep warm! LOL! Brother and I still have the green machine just need to finish points/condensor and think it will be ready to fire. So cool!
Hi Booker and thanks for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride on my 300. I hope you get your ignition issues sorted out on your 300 soon so that you can take it for a real ride. If you happen to post a vid of it when you get it going, please let me know so that I can give it a watch. Have a great winter!
@Dylan2996oct Thanks, Dylan. I sorta hate to admit how much I paid for it because it was quite alot for a 300 JD, but I just had to have it. And if anybody knew what I paid for it, they might think I was bonkers.
Thanks a bunch. As far as the "nice job" goes, I don't deserve any credit because she's totally original and I have not done a thing to it. Not even the slightest ding or scratch in the belly pan. I'm pretty selective when and where I ride it and never take it off the trail for fear of hitting some hidden obstacle and denting that pristine aluminum pan.
grew up on one of those , a jdx4 special , and a couple of old sno jets , fun sleds to learn on ,
