I played Skyrim on my friend's PS3, and the some of the textures throughout the game are SHIT. And i dont see the point of pathways in that game, i just hike over a mountain using the rocks. . .

@101smoothdude The reason for the graphical downgrade is the fact that is WAS on a PlayStation console. The Creation Engine is DirectX-based engine, and PlayStation consoles use OpenGL. I am not giving a biased opinion of the PlayStation either, but OpenGL is, in fact, inferior to DirectX.

they need to bring the arena back as dlc except give it online features so we can battle each other, that would be sick and not hard to do, and maybe more than just 1v1. why not 2v2 or something ya know? if you want to see this done then give it a thumbs up and copy and paste it on skyrim forums and other sites!
@zer0hexx It's one of the big spell scrolls, their expensive and hard to find, and take a good 5 seconds or so to cast, but their arguably the most powerful attack you can get in the game. their the only thing that can activate that casting animation.
@Teutonium Most of those spells were cast using scrolls. They have much longer and more flamboyant animations than simply casting spells as you have to charge them for a while.
For everyone who wants to know what the armor is at 1:04 it's called Nightingale armor you get it by doing a quest for Brynjolf called Trinity Restored.
Animation is not all that impressive. Unless impressive means "at least it's better than oblivion's". Attacks are repetitive, facial animation is non-existent (there's more to it than lip-sync) and even stuff like walking uphill looks wrong.
Overall the graphics look last-gen by pc standards, faces look very unnatural (except for argonians), textures are low-res, and the concept art is often kinda generic.
I guess we're gonna once again have to rely on external moders to work their magic.
@matenzo This game doesnt need the best graphics because the sheer amount of content is beyond any other game. And thats what elderscrolls has always been known for! I mean i still play morrowind because of the amount of quests that i still havent finished.....Even though graphics would be nice
@byerscm I know I hardly have any of the acheivements for it, yet my friends only need one more. So in a few weeks they will be playing a different game and I will be playing Skyrim yelling at them that I am still have more fun!!!!

@DesertSmeagle as in multiplayer? if so then that is a definite no, todd explained in many itnerviews that they have looked at multiplayer and found too many negative that outweigh the positives. besides this game is built for single player and thats where its dedication will always be.

Yeah, except the replay value is shit because you can do just about every thing and master the good majority of the techniques in one file. You can't get all the perks, but you can get enough to say "well, starting a new file just for those perks is retarded." Skyrim is great in almost every aspect, but it is a terrible failure in the replay department and the bugs and glitches are unbelievably awful and abundant.

@DesertSmeagle as in multiplayer? if so then that is a definite no, todd explained in many itnerviews that they have looked at multiplayer and found too many negative that outweigh the positives. besides this game is built for single player and thats where its dedication will always be.

Yeah, except the replay value is shit because you can do just about every thing and master the good majority of the techniques in one file. You can't get all the perks, but you can get enough to say "well, starting a new file just for those perks is retarded." Skyrim is great in almost every aspect, but it is a terrible failure in the replay department and the bugs and glitches are unbelievably awful and abundant.

They still haven't fixed the bugs and glitches that I have encountered and they are awful. Yes, they will probably have DLC, but that's not replay value, that's just adding on stuff. Exactly, who cares about the perks. That's what I said dumbass, learn how to read.
