when do you think the show was recorded? and how does the audience know when the show is going to be "pre-record"? do they do it directly after a show or something?
I'm not sure if it was the whole show, but the monologue (and e-mails, I'd guess) was definitely recorded before he went on vacation.
Yes, I think they tape one show just after the other. Well, actually, I suppose they tape, like, two monologues, then two e-mail parts, then the interviews... I don't know, but that would make sense, in a practical way.
