This is really cute. Its really cool cause I really like the friendship the main trio in Kingdom Hearts have but there aren't too many videos about Donald or Goofy, so thanks for giving Goofy his own tribute

You're very welcome! ;) Hey, I just had an idea! I was think about that little burst of faster music at the end of the original song after the last word "me" that didn't make it into the clip, and I was thinking, "hmm, I guess no footage could fit that part.." And today it struck me, what if for that last part of music there was that scene where Sora, Goofy, and Donald are chasing Pluto off into the distance at the end of Kingdom Hearts one? That would be cute! ;)

Aww, that would have been very nice! WHY OH WHY didn't I think of that before? And now I can't really even modify the video - I changed computers last summer, and then last February I lost my files due to the hard-drive going kaboom. :( The file of this tribute was among the files that passed onto the great big 'My Documents' in the sky.

Now that was one of the cutest and most genuinely thoughful Goofy/KH clips I've ever seen shared, here or anywhere. :D I loved it, it genuinely touched me, especially since I'm a huge Goofy fan and have a lot of Disney memories attached to that song in the first place. ;) Great job!

True, true on all points. ;) Goofy is totally awesome, and especially in KH2 it seems as if *he* is the cleverest one in the Fab Three.

Now I keep my fingers crossed for getting MAX in KH... Because Max Goof is also all kinds of awesome.

...Wait. What kind of a heartless person could actually *hate* Goofy? Okay, he's not Emo Spikehair, but aren't optimism and happiness and joie de vivre like his actually *good* qualities? ;_;

;__; Another thing I don't get is exactly what you described. The Org XII were sympathetic villains, yes, anime-pretty, yes, but they were pretty sociopathic - if that's the word I want - and definitely not just misunderstood woobies who could be turned nice (= not destoying worlds, at least?) with a woobie blanket or steamy action... I think Sora&Co would had left them alone or even helped them if the first ones he met didn't try to mess with his head or turn the Beast into a Heartless...

On the other hand, Ansem the Wise had a dashed good reason to hate Nobodies. He told his apprentices to quit the Heart research once he heard it wasn't good, but a freak accident happened and the apprentices turned into Nobodies. And then they banished him, pretty much destroyed his world and took away everything he had. His name was tarnished by a Fake Ansem related to Xehanort. At that point, I'd have some prejudices, too.

Besides, Ansem apologised in the end. Nobodies didn't...

Namine helped Ansem restore Sora's memories, yet Ansem got rid of her without even saying "thank you."

I think Ansem does have a right to be angry at his apprenticies, but he says: "A nobody doesn't have a right to know. Nor does it have the right to be." Which means he says this whole race of nobodies shouldn't have a right to live, which is very racist.

Oh, I definitely agree that Ansem/DiZ isn't the nicest character around. But with Roxas, there pretty much weren't any choices; Sora was pretty much the only one who actually could do something about the Org XIII and the worlds going wonky. And Naminé acting on her own could have had disastrous results to the Roxas plan... But yes, Ansem isn't a very nice person.

But, but, my main point is that Ansem apologised for his actions in the end.

the heartless killed most nobodies in the city, then the remaining was only a fist full, confronted sora and riku, after they defeated xemnas, dieing out for some reason. Which means the end of the nobodies.

Nobodies came before ansem. what gives him the right to influence others to kill every single one of them?

I don't remember Ansem ordering anybody to kill every single nobody... Though that might just be me. And yes, he did hate them and did say that they don't have the right to exist (though that's kinda understandable thing to say from his PoV). Yen Sid was the one who said that you'll have to fight the nobodies, because they're going to hurt you otherwise. Which they kinda did.

There's also the plus side of destroying Nobodies and Heartless: when the Heartless is beaten, the Heart in a normal situation returns to its owner and ba-wom! We have somebody back! Like the Traverse Town shopkeeper.

If Kingdom Hearts is in the way, it absorbs the heart once the Heartless gets beaten, and the person doesn't come back. This is what Org XIII were doing.

Nobodies get back if

1. Their heartless is defeated

2. They get defeated.

Well, I think the Nobodies are more like a species really, so it'd be extinction or somesuch, because well, they're not humans as such. ;)

The thing is, by beating up Nobodies you can bring the actual people back. There's also that the Nobodies did try to attack Sora and his friends - so even if Sora hadn't known what they were, he'd still beaten them, like in Chain of Memories. Ansem was, if I remember right, only against the Org XIII, which didn't really care about the Dusks either.

Also, I think Yen Sid wouldn't need to hear news from his old student - after all, he's the greatest wizard in the universe. I think he's also the Mysterious Voice in KH1. Even without his helpful infodump at the beginning of KH, Sora would've offed the Nobodies - Dusks had attacked him moments before and all bets would be off by Beast's Castle, where Xaldin was trying to off Sora's friend the Beast.

Nobodies used to be a somebody with a strong heart. i dont think they should be called "its". besides. extinction is a very serious matter

The main point is 'used to be'. I do admit that calling Nobodies 'it' is mean - after all, they're sapient, unlike the Heartless.

I used the term 'extinct' with a touch of irony. The thing is, when there's a Nobody, the *person*, their other is partly missing. Whereas when a proper animal species becomes extinct, they're really killed off. Nobodies can just be a whole person á la Roxas&Sora and Naminé&Kairi again instead of going around wreaking havoc.

maybe its cuz nobodies want to live like they used to, with feelings and emotions. thats why they created kingdom hearts... which is why there are so many sora, kairi, riku, donald, and goofy haters. (they killed org xiii. except for kairi. they hate her because she is "stealing sora from riku." which is the crack yaoi reason for hating someone.)

Yes. And that bashing is really sad. I'm not saying the Org XIII aren't sympathetic villains - but well, creating Kingdom Hearts messed the physics of KH and Heartless Roundabouts, and that was baaaad.

I don't pair Destiny Trio together, so thankfully I'm out of that debate. :D (Crack pairings FTW! Cid/Merlin = OTP and practically canon~!)

On a side note, do you think Scar was a Nobody in KH? I mean, he wasn't a Heartless and he had these special magics...

Oh, I'd never ever bash Kairi. She doesn't even break my darling crack pairings, and she has teensy amounts of screentime... Actually, it'd be nice if she had a bigger role/more screentime in KH3 or something, and not just as a "love interest" (using the term extremely loosely here, as Destiny Trio doesn't have canon pairings).

The only fictional characters I hate and actually bash are Eragon and Arya from Inheritance Cycle, a bookseries I love to hate and bash. ;)
