Maravillosa voz de tenor ligero, bonito color y con gran temperamento lírico-dramático dificil de encontrar en la mayoria de los tenores leggeros. Es una lástima que poco se le haya reconocido entre los mejores tenores de su clase. Gregory Kunde es un excelente interprete de Rossini !!!
Well this sounds very different from earlier recordings... is it the sound? I don't know, but his voice sounds kind of tired and not as smooth as it usually was. Kind of pushy now and there, specially from 3:14 'til the end. This is relatively a recent performance, maybe this is why since I haven't heard a lot of his latest performances, but to me it seems he is fighting through out the whole piece.
@SonoPortoricano I think ultimately it's that his voice was beginning to become heavier at this point. He is now singing La Damnation de Faust and I Vespri Siciliani and even Carmen. The voice is definitely heavier now than it used to be.
Kunde is superb, he is real bel canto tenor in this world, three tenor still very good, but kunde's technique better than too much! i mean technique, is not the sound ~~~~~~~~~~~
Stupenda la coloratura del 3:16. Kunde è un grande. Gli ho sentito cantare l'Ermione al Rossini Opera Festival 2008. Ha un deciso corpo vocale, ma anche una raffinata tacnica delle agilità. Davvero bravo.

Tasteful, unheard variations, at last! He truly delivers some charimsatic performances.
Kunde is in my "tenors you wuldn't want to live without" list.... :)
