  • 2pac might have dissed dre with his 2nd verse off this beat, i read somewhere on the internet that blackstreet were going to sue deathrow for using the same beat,so they had to remix

  • damn they were both classics but blackstreet didnt deserve to get dissed!!! they killed it!!! if onli pac replaced dre on no diggiddy lol that wud be ill

  • not dre's beat, diss of Dre

  • @sirbuggy56 Actually that is Dre's beat, but when he left Death Row he took the beat with him, so Pac dissed him in the second verse of the official release of this song.

  • @WastefulBoomBoy um,

you have a point though, i mean, this song is very similar with song " No Diggi..something by Blackstreet"

  • why so bad qulity

  • dis version sucks, fault of dre.. :S

  • lol dissing dre on his own shit,

  • @Adriangrosvenor

No, the OG (this one) is actually without that verse, but this guy edited it into it, u can hear that the second verse is weaker of quality than the first one.

  • This is Sampled from no diggity. Dre made the beat.

  • @IllBeBackIn2014 this was the orginal beat for toss it up dummy...thats why hes dissin dre because he took the beat back and gave it to blackstreet

  • love this shit 71-96

  • @shannonD68 yea she was already like 31 right here

  • 1. lol wats w/ the girls poppin up in front of the vid

    2. ALL THE SINGERS (besides k-ci) SOUND THE SAME 2 ME!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lilkroc09 They don't sound all the same...You should really get yourself checked out by a doctor...As for the girls, well if you pay attention to the song you'll understand...

  • why dont u new kids on the block quit talkng smack about rappers you didnt even grow up listening to...ALL 2pac songs are classics, from his first to last...any true 2pac fan would know that....you kids should go back to listening to you chris brown lol...leave this music for the original fans that actually grew up in the 80's and 90\s...

  • @SexyIndianGirl couldnt agree more, i love any tupac song i hear no matter what it is, id smack the hell outta someone if they said the wrong thing about 2pac.

  • @SexyIndianGirl SexyIndianGirl you don't own this song you cacn't tell someone to listen, that's up to them don't complain about notta.

  • @SexyIndianGirl U don't have to be born in the 80's and 90's to be a true tupac fan... I agree to every of his songs being a classic and there being allotta idiots around there acting like lil wayne is better, they should shoot themselves. But I didn't listen to tupac until after the 2000's, and I recognize his music just as much as any other tupac fan. Don't generalize girl.

  • 3:38 pac almost burned himself lol

when broke that mirror he got 7 years bad luck lol

  • @lilkroc09 that's bullshit

once upon a times there was a person who was so bored that he/she invented the bad luck thing with the mirror. bullshit!

  • pig almighty

  • Actually what happened is that pac told the producer of Toss it up the video version to jack thier beat if you listen to the uncensored version he even says it. Also during the xxl issue for pac's anniversary the producer even said it but didnt wanna be sued so he wouldn't say the exact song.

  • fucc dre dat cunt

  • For the record everybody Dr. Dre didn't produce No Diggity. It was produced by Teddy Riley and William Skylz. I should know I have the CD Another Level.

    Yall do remember CDs right?

    Read the CD booklet credits.

  • @icecoldcity

i guarantee dr. dre had some influence with that beat. maybe the credits say different because of death row trying to retain dr. dre. look at all the contract disputs with former artists death row has had.

  • @cjigga21 How do you guarantee something? where are your facts.

People on the internet always speculating.

The credits say produced by Teddy Riley (I own the CD)

You do remember when people actually bought C.D.s Right?

Till there is proof till Dr. Dre Says "yes I produced it.

It's all Teddy Riley and William Skylz... period.

  • @icecoldcity man its like dl quik admitting in an interview that he actually produced quite a few songs on all eyes on me album , but because of contracts with another label, he couldnt be named on the credits.. but im taking your side because this blackstreet song doesnt sound like a dre beat to me, and i have nearly every album that he's ever had a hand in

  • @icecoldcity You're right When blackstreet came out with the song...2pac and Deathrow wanted to come with this version for the 2pac album...but BLACKSTREET filed a cease and desist order against deathrow...not Dr Dre. Which is why the Makaveli has the weak remix version that sounds rushed and jumbled. Dr. Dre most likely mixed the song but the beat is Teddy and Skylz...no diggity no doubt

  • damn he came hard at Dre lol

  • 2pac is irresistible on here!!! :D

    woow

    love this song

  • i love this verson wayyyyy better

  • 5/5

  • fuck all those rappeurs éxepct pac, yak, big stretch west siiiiiiiiiide!

  • hahaha Dr. Dre did both beats the one for No Diggity, and this one which is a copy cat of the Blackstreet one.. thats why 2pac made another version of this song.

  • @Nickatinafan

Wrong! Dre made this beat for Pac originally, but left death row and sold the beat to Blackstreet. Death Row then tweaked it to the version that was released. Which is another reason for the Dre. Dre diss in the last verse.

  • @tyronebullock No man. They heard this song and saw Dre was featured on it and Pac and everyone wanted to make a diss using the beat. So when they made it, BLACKstreet filed a cease and desist so they could never release it. So the version on the 7 day theory is a remix. Go to hiphopdx.com and Danny was just talking about this in an interview.

  • @holyo34 Thanks for putting me on to that interview - just read it. Danny Boy comes over really well.

  • 2pac is the shit,i dont think this a og beat by dre,the was black street some one just mixed it in there like the video

  • whoever told Dannyboy can sing is fucking crazy...this guy cant sing for shit!

  • .... eddie again lol had to be, same fucking idiot.

  • lol... i guess i have to take SOME of what i said back...he can sing, im actually starting to like his music BUT he cant hold a high note for shit...his voice cracks and you have to admit that.

  • Dr. Dre did do production for Toss it Up (OG). how ever when he left, he sold it 2 another group, which prompted 2pac to add the diss at the end of the released version.

  • true that

  • fuck dre he didnt do shit!!!! u bich

  • Dre did originally make this beat for Toss It Up, but he left death Row before Pac recorded it so he gave the beat to Blackstreet for No Diggity

  • this is just somebody ading his own wack production on a thight ass song fuck this shit

  • 2:16 the best part "Ooh, it's K-Ci bay-bay!!" If he held that note where he said "thang" like he said "sang" in the next line he would have sounded just like SisQo.

  • what?

  • if that's dre's beat, then it sux

  • the original beat didn't from DRE, TUPAC even dissed DRE on this song, (i enjoy death row hey days no longer DRE days...) and SUGE enjoyed it big deal

  • it was a dre beat because he gave it to blackstreet for their song no diggity

  • just download the original, 2pac - Toss it up (OG)

  • anyone got a download link for this version?

  • diss is the hammma best song

  • Your talkin like All Eyez On Me, Makaveli and Me Against The World arn't classics......

  • @EvilDeadEchoes those are some of the best albums in the history of music.

  • you obviously dont know anything about 2pac, he wasnt recognised just for that song alone at all, in fact anyone that really knows about 2pac knows him for all his other stuff, and he's widely regarded as the most lyrical rapper of all time, and he made future generations want to become rappers

dont leave ur dumbass comments someone you dont know a single fuckin thing about...

  • ok kid you dont know what u talkin bout

  • ur a faggot

  • i got the bedroom shakin, back breakin when i toss it up...

hopefully not referring to his cellmate in prison

  • wtf dre did not make this beat

  • actually dre did that is why pac dissed him in the last verse bcuz dre sold this beat to blackstreet for the song "no diggity" listen to the toss it up song on the makaveli album, at the end pac talks about them.

  • last verse pac killed dre

  • wrong I made this beat please stop spreading false information its not cool Dre had nothing to do with it teddy did no digity he was my mentor an i did Toss it up we used the same sample from grandmas hands

  • good shit meech. Do you still produce? do you have other work on youtube we can see?

  • he dissin dre with dre's beat :)

    love it :)

  • this was never Dres beat lol i did this beat check the credits me an Teddy Riley both used a sample of grandmas hands thats it 2 separate beats Dre did the beat whats wrong with people

  • and who do u think u are lool

    moron

  • R.I.P. 2PAC

  • did he just diss dre?

  • wow where u get it?? did u remix this? cool man

  • is that lisaraye in the back ground

  • when 2pac is in a video,m/v or songs he just light it up he makes you like it

  • i love how he's dissin dre on a beat that dre produced hahahaha "no longer dre day arrivederci!"

  • That was hilarious though lol

  • first of all this is the original released song theirs a reason because of what he said about dre and this beat is exactly or similar to blackstreet no diggity by dr. dre look it up

  • its definitly not the original sond they deathrow switched up the beat for tupac

  • I did Toss It UP my concept my beat its just the same sample as no digity guess im gonna have to do a copyright infringement

  • 2 pac is baaaaaaaaaaaaaccccckkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tupac smashes a mirror in this movie, 7 years of bad luck....

7 days theory, check it out

  • tupac aint break that mirror right b4 he break it look in da mirror look at his bak were da big ass crooss

  • haha classic dodge viper car.

  • Dre produces the best beats. Great song

  • Let Me See You Tozz It Up!

  • is this THE ORIGINAL beat?..? -.-

  • Is that Lisa Raye?

  • L.A nyggaz

  • that's why I always thought that this song sounded a lot like No Diggity. I had no idea that Dre produced this originally.

  • I always thought that too. The kinda beat and the fact that it's mostly singin and only a couple of rap verses. Do you know what year No Diggity was released? It was after this right?

  • to be honest I don't know, but I always thought I heard similarities between those two songs.

  • this was the original then dre left death row to make his own company and signed blackstreet thought it was perfect for em and got em to jump on the beat

  • released in 1996

so dre prolly gave 2pac the beat first

  • Dre produced it for Blackstreet first in 1995. This was early 1996.

  • yup

let me finish your statement for these yungins

hence the part where he say,yea we took yalls beat, talkin bout how culd sum non playas do a song bla bla bla and about lil kim bein a fat bitch.lol luv that line

i remember buyin this album wen it came out,

  • somebody took the beat dr dre did

and put the acapella of the 2pac song over the beat

thats why u hear sum what of an echo you dont hear on the real song especially on 2pacs verses

the actual original sounds a bit different then the released version but jus sampled this

  • u dont know what your talking about i produced both of these tracks this is the first version dre had nothing to do with it my name is Demetrius Shipp

imagine the hard work it took to do a record like this just to have someone on youtube acting as if they know what they are talking about i have the original masters u are so off i dont understand where you people come up with the stuff you say as if you know ,we did 2 versions 1 more r&b an one for Makeveli i did thet beat teddy riley did no dig

  • dre produced the original for this song...left death row and gave it to blackstreet who made no diggity with it...then death row pretty much changed the beat around....cased closed end of discussion lets move on to another subject

  • this is just the no diggity beat

  • aaron hall produced this beat as well as the remix of toss it up. that's a fact.

  • Are you fucking stupid Dr.Dre had noting to do with this song or the recording of The 7 Day Theory.

  • Its you whos stupid, Dre produced original beat for this track but gave it to Blackstreet when he left Death Row. If u havent noticed Pac disses Dre in the last verse, thats why they u should first do some research before callin someone stupid aight

  • You assume that I didn't know that he dissed Dre well stupid ass I did stop making stupid comments. I've done my research so don't be telling me shit.

  • All im sayin is that Dre had everything to do with this beat, meaning he produced it, Death Row just copied it

  • Was this the original version? Danny Boy actually has this video on his myspace. So it has to be a version he remembered singing on.

  • that's false

  • ezikikk iz right homie, also kingjames8807..

    that's real fact!

  • you are right this is Meech i produced both the original an this one an really no one should have this track because i never authorized use of this man this is a burn out im Demetrius Shipp check the credits we wasnt foolin wit dre ,me An Teddy Riley used the same sample from grandmas hand but then how can you explain the real to a bunch of people on here who no nothing about whats real they just make up stuff but good lookin on your comment

  • Yeah thanks for that but isn't it dimitri ship or is that just an alias you used for the credits?

  • why you pretending to be some big hip hop producer?? you probably work in a post room in oregon

  • omg dres version is horrible

  • its pretty similar.

  • thts wht i just fucking said

  • I forgot LisaRaye did this video.

  • this ones better in a way

  • Dre beat in this song is good

  • U Did well on this i waiting for

the but were there was singing lool

  • 2pacs is better...

what would dre do a beat for a song that was dissing him.

  • because Dr. Dre left Deathrow and took this beat right here and gave it to Blackstreet.

  • the last verse came afterwards..

  • It sounds okay, but I like Pac's beat better.

  • Black street got this beat

  • pac is the best..no comment

  • this beat is kinda catchy

although i like 2pacs beat better

  • its no diggity....i always thought no diggity and this song sound a like.

  • dats cause 2pac restyled the beat.

  • 1 Of Them Was A BMW Z3 Still !

  • tupac does not have no tattoos on his back and either the thug life on his tummy...looks like everyone got fooled about him dying

  • can somebody plzzz tell me all the cars in back ground plzzz

  • 95' Customized Miata Convertible @:15

    Hummer H1 @:21

    Rolls Royce @ :38

    95'Chevrolet Corvette @:58

    BMW @ 2:17

  • that 1st car is actually a dodge viper

  • 2pac and blackstreet have both used the beats for i aint mad at cha and toss it up, but i heard there was some kinda beef surrounding those beats and teddy riley got ripped off by someone connected to death row? so what the fuck?!

  • toss it up woz da produced by dr dre but then he left death row jst after pac recorded hiz vocalz on da beat but it woz never released, so dre gave da beat 2 black street, pac pissed dat dre left deathrow and gave da beat 2 black street so he made hiz own beat and dissed dre on it az well, i dnt no about i aint mad atcha tho

  • that makes sense. u know anything bout teddy riley gettin ripped off by some dude connected with death row?

  • nah man dnt no about dat

  • im that dude an i didnt rip him we worked together we both used the same sample period

  • that comment u replied to is so old it could rightfully go on a farewell tour with the rolling stones!!! but i guess u got a right to correct the wrongs. anyway, i wasnt accusing u of anything but my apologies if it seemed as though i was. i was just asking for somebody to shed some light on what i heard. never seen u on here before. how did u come to find out that this subject was floating around on you tube?

  • really i have tried to close this chapter many times dogg but real talk yesturday was his birthday an more then all of this i wish he could have stayed alive i came to look at our work together an saw this an it makes it worse then it already is but thank you for your understanding all due respect

  • no problem, g. peace n power!!!

  • dre had nothing to do with toss it up or no digity that was Teddy Riley an Demetrius Shipp an its not the same beat its the same sample used

  • no longer dre day ?

    what pac mean ?

  • dre was leavin death row, pac got no more love for him coz he wasnt showin up in the court when snoop was on trial for murder, apparently dre was useful there but didnt come also pac thought dre wasnt doin shit on death row for being the ceo for death row also lol dre was cheatin on his wife which pac didnt like at all

  • nigga pac also was going to leave deathrow when he died

so i dont think thats the reason

actually it was because the beat of ''no diggity'' was going to be for this song, but dre decided to give it to blackstreet, adn pac got mad

  • Who is that guy in white?

  • Danny Boy

  • pac always "JINXED" himself, he breaks a mirror, he wears a necklace wit the angel of death, always talked about his death..

  • The 2nd 2pac verse is obviously a cpu but very good quality.

  • Lisa RAye is banging

  • Toos it up is a great 2pac song !

  • this was supposed to be for 2pac but then they got beef so it was dropped

  • is it official ?

  • By original Dre beat you mean the beat from No Diggity
