Notice all the color. Windows has color, great styling, and, above all, superior functionality and ease of use with Windows 7.

Where as Apple uses black, gray, white. I'm not saying that's bad, yet to accuse someone else of having no "taste" and "style" when the truly do integrate more taste and style is not right.

I've tried both Mac and PC, and definitely am staying with PC.

Fail. Apple's Mac's Barely crash compared to a PC, my sister bought a Dell inspirion 15 laptop and now wishes she got a Mac! It continues to freeze, crash and al that. My MacBook Pro 13 inch has not crashed ONCE!

Yeah Macs are really nice but also really expensive. At least with a PC you can customize and build one to your liking, with Mac you are stuck with what they give you and you pay more for the same hardware you get in a PC. I have also seen that you can now build a computer that can run OSX and Windows thanks to a lil internal USB device called EFiX! I am looking forward to upgrading my desktop to run both Windows 7 and Macs OSX and I will pay less for it than if I had bought a Mac! Thank you PC

Mac OS X actually rips off freeBSD and the Mach Kernals, which are both open source, the dock isn't even much of an original idea either, it ripsoff the KDE environment. windows is probably th emost original out there, while mac is stealing things from GNU/Linux and claiming they're better, heck i'd use any linux over mac anyday

I don't know how you got those ideas, but obviously you're not 100% right on this ones. Developers learn from others to improve their products. If you accuse Win vista and Win 7 developers for stealing ideas then you may as well accuse Apple for copying from xerox. Plus Apple and some other Microsoft's competitors sued Microsoft and forced it to share some of its technology secrets, so they wouldn't have to deal with monopoly. There you can't call any of those companies totally innovative

I'm both a Mac and a PC. I own a MacBook Air, and I love it.. At the same time, I want to purchase the Toshiba Qosmio X505 as a desktop replacement multimedia/gaming laptop. At the same time again, I am getting an iPhone for a birthday gift, so I am pretty psyched about that.

In short, I think Microsoft and Apple can both live comfortably together in big wide world of consumer electronics. A little healthy competition is good for both of them.

The only reason I'd ever buy a mac is if I were to make a theatrical film that required something that Adobe Premier couldn't do. Other than that, it's just a fashion accessory, with little use. (iPhone is a different story - i don't have one, but it's the best mobile platform that's for sure.)

dude im running windows 7 pro 64 bit now, and its damn great. It's lightning fast, has every bit of support you need, and is great for any use.

I use it for gaming.

i can play games as new as off the shelves, to a game from the 80's on it. That's one of the great feature sit has, things like compatibility mode, that work like no else.

Popularity in number is true. But virus success is most important reason. Virus don't succeed because there are many PC's. Virus succeed because the OS is weak. Likewise is with health. Virus are outthere anyway, and there are more humans, than PCs, but only the weak humans (or the ones with bad habits) get infected. So is with PC's. Programming a virus for MACs are a bit harder but that's because it's a unix based system. But of course once they get more market share people will benefit (financially or for personal gain) from creating viruses for MACs. I laugh at those people who say there's no viruses.
