  • to bad TT's are center mounted not beamed.... Big price difference and suspension difference

  • @blackhawk250 Yes that is why I used the word Like...though this truck was expensive to build it is no where near Trophy Truck prices.

  • @prerunnermaniac yeah this thing hauls ass no doubt, but not 300k haha

  • Flippin sweet

  • @chriswoollet We agree!!!

  • how much :P ... im not kidding i want one

  • You can visit our site for the full write up on this for specs, there is no build link though. Unfortunately YouTube doesn't allow links in comments. Go to prerunnermaniac(dot)com and look under Prerunners > Features you will find it.

  • specs? build link?

  • SOOO SEXXXYYYY""!!!!

  • @mx4menot4u It is a work of art

  • isnt this out at apex?

  • @XxDEVILSxNUGETSxX Yes it is...good eye

  • @prerunnermaniac I KNOW WHO THIS IS!!!!!!!!!!! its danny :D

  • @XxDEVILSxNUGETSxX sshhh don't tell anyone...LOL

  • I'm pretty sure trophy trucks don't have I-Beams.

  • @SoCalRiderXspadesX yes you are correct, that is why we titled it "Like" a Trophy Truck...it is really built like a 7200 truck with a V8 in it.

  • @prerunnermaniac Yeah I was being sarcastic. Clean build though.

  • @SoCalRiderXspadesX I thought you were!!! Glad you liked the truck. I have been trying to get a video of his F-150. It is more streetable but still a nice prerunner

  • @prerunnermaniac If he has a build thread on dezert rangers, I would be interested in a link.

  • @SoCalRiderXspadesX I don't think he does. We live in Las Vegas, and it was built by a company in Califonia.

  • @SoCalRiderXspadesX actually many beamed trucks have raced in trophy truck, we did last year at the SNORE Battle at Primm

  • That sits lower in the back(in my opinion)for what's called Rear Percentage. Meaning, a lower ride height in the back helps transfer weight to the back. Also a lower ride height provides less body roll for improved drivability.

  • @MrHowdoesitgo OK you really mean like a Drag Car...it really is just the way the truck sits. Most 2WD prerunners sit higher in the front. It also depends on how soft the rear suspension is set up.

  • question for whoever can answer this, i wanna know why the truck has that almost drag-look to it at the rear is that due to the fuel cell, suspension or just for looks etc? thanks..

  • @1992xGeo Not sure what you mean by drag look?...where it is lower in the rear?

  • man i love the LS motors but if u got a ford u gotta keep tht baby alive with a ford motor...lol. but dude i effin love this ranger. im hopin to one day rebuild my ranger and transform her into a beast like this!!!!

  • u know where he got everything fabricated at?

  • thats nice man wish it was mine!!!! i dont think there is a difference with ur truck and a prerunner

  • wow thats one amazing ranger

  • No still factory Ranger frame rails, it was back-halfed.

  • Is it on a tube chassis? I hate when people refer to building their truck into a trophy truck. That's like saying I'm going to turn my Monte Carlo into a Nascar. Just had to rant about the verbage. Nice truck.

  • @ovrebo1 right! and this video doesn't show how well its tuned... looks like it could use some rebound in the rear though.. hard to tell when they are only hitting baby woops...

  • what mufflers are those? they sound really good.

  • @weldcreations That one I don't know.

  • @weldcreations No mufflers

  • what engine

  • @witeboy08 It is an LS V8

  • i would love to buy this truck!

  • @RIDERCRF250 so would I, you really need to see it in person.

  • Respond to this video... Sorry for the thumbs down on your comment, hit it by accident.

  • Awesome thank you !

  • Does anyone know who built this truck? Please!

  • @fox276x I think it was JD Fabrication that built this prerunner.

  • are prerunners 4x4???

  • @Something141 Some can be. Our Ranger project Desert 4x4 is. Visit our site and you can see the build under the Prerunners tab

  • I got first dibs if he is going to trade...lol

  • wanna trade?

  • very nic e truck!

  • ever find out if he has a build thread on dr or rdc or anything? really want to see pics

  • Do you know if it is automatic or manual? also what engine? Ls1?

  • @IamDtvStudios It was automatic with an LS motor, don't remember if it was an LS1 or not.

  • Sick!!!!!!! I'm going to start a build similar to that ranger on mine.

  • Fuck yeah, APEX! You a local?

  • @sergiotacoma Yup born and raised here in Las Vegas

  • @prerunnermaniac, i dont think i've actually seen you out there O.o Weird, i used to be there every weekend. By the shot of the video camera, seems like you wen in the afternoon. Try to lower your tire pressure when going up the dune, wont be so bumpy and more grip.

  • @sergiotacoma Yes it was in the afternoon so we could get the low light. The problem wasn't tire pressure it wasthe tire itself. BFG Projects don't have a lot of tread. They are made for the desert not the dunes. Luckily he had the horsepower to get through it.

  • build thread on dezertrangers for it?

or just anywhere i can see pics of cage work, susp, and such?

  • @RCMracer74 I don't think the owner has posted build pics, but I can ask him.

  • @prerunnermaniac Did you check out the pics we shot in our online magazine? Check out our site...sorry can't post links here.

  • its a ford its gunna break down.

  • @TheHammer209 its a ford its gonna be first

  • @TheHammer209 i donjt think you could have posted a stupider comment

  • Where is that?... looks familiar.

  • @UTDuneRunner that was shot at APEX. First we started off of Las Vegas Blvd. then headed back to the dunes.

  • Glad you like the video. The next issue is coming out in the next few days where you will see more in depth pics.

  • just wait untill ten years same realiability in a light v6 same power as now of a ls series. fuck just thinkin out loud hey awesome build i had the same bedsides on my old ranger 5/5 + new subscriber looking foward to see more

  • Glad you liked it. We hope to do a follow up feature once it is painted. We plan on hitting Dumont and getting some air time on video.

Be sure to subscribe to our magazine. We have a full feature on this prerunner coming in the next day or so.

  • that thing is fuckin sweeeeeet!

  • sweet
