Compensation from who? This was a 100% fan-made film with zero budget which was given away for free on the internet.
In any case, it is totally legal to use copyright material without permission if it's in a parody, under both American and Finnish law.

OK, I'm an American ... this is Finnish? Given the decent quality of the sound stages, make-up, costumes and attractiveness of the actors, is this an actual TV/online program in Finland?
Do the Star Trek/Farscape/Babylon 5 people know about this and have they given their blessing to the copyright infringement? Because the acting is pretty bad.

Yes it's Finnish. This is a movie done by amateurs on their own time with no commercial support. It has aired on Finnish tv though.
I don't know if any of the parodied movies' people know about this but i'm not positive that their consent is legally necessary under the Finnish law.

They are free and clear as they didn't make any money gains from this. However the new version titled Empire edition is up for sale so the graphics have been changed.
