I'd thought I'd post a comment because both my feet are moving in quite the same way since more than a month. My toes are the most affected, on both sides.
I'm on diagnosis process but still worried. Some doctors say this is anxiety, others look more serious about the situation. I'm passing an MRI on december 30. EMG, EEG and Evoked Potentials were Ok.
Have you found what illness or condition caused your feet to move like this?
I get this when I cycle, my legs arch and twist and my lower back follows, I fear I might jerk into an oncoming car, really scary. I try to focus and pedal to get home safely.
In the ICU, we keep the feet on holdsters so that they are bent at a natural angle, not having a 'pointed toe' as seen here. Part of this may be 'foot drop', but it sounds like you were having more of a systemic, whole-body episode.
I'm sorry these are painful. I hope your health care providers are ensuring that you are on good pain medications.
I love you forever, SamiBebe2! And I love the color of your toes!
When the muscle brabs hard and holds tight, and even ripples...that is atrophy. Some of it is hard to see, because I was shaking all over. I kept moving the camera to where it was the most active. You can see, it kept moving. The arching of my feet, and the pointing of my toes is involuntary. The jumping muscles and fast jerksand even the "heartbeat " in the muscles is very painful. I just showed my legs, but at the time it was affecting my whole body.
this is provoked by generalized dystonia, but made better by tegritol.

How do you manage to keep your nail lack on your toes? I can't even put mine on, and if I do my twisted toes erase it.....

Have you tried hypnosis? I know it's not a cure, but it might help.
