including 1857 Civilian, totally 3523 were killed in Northern Ireland in last several decades.
so are you happy with the British government??? I'm sure you will agree we should always self-examine before digging any others smudges. no government is innocent mate.
N. Ireland was a tradagy. But it was NOT government lead. or firing on innocents. It is very sad, but many countries exerience differences between populations but both authorities were against violonce. One smaller party that were believed to support hard line action, now no longer exist. Justice and democracy won.
On Kate's last point, the past is the past and we can not change that, but to even go and stand silently in rememberance, they will be arrested. Is that right? All memory being swiped of what the Govermnent did, many today do not seem to know what really happened.
I not a fan of youtube debates, so apologies to continue, but please get the facts right if you are going to use them in debale. N.Ireland was horriffic, but we remember those who fell, can show our respect and (the majority) have learned from mistakes back then. It is not a point to compare.
in reply to: 010010645 so you're happy to let a government kill, an innocent population and then just dismiss it? that is just wrong
