It's a worn-out VHS tape, and was probably recorded in LP or EP in the first place. It's this or nothing, folks. Unless you wanna try to find the master tape -- if it even still exists -- in the network's archives.

This is shit even for VHS the reason is back then some people used the slowest speed to record in order to save tape. This kind of quality is the result.

Had to explain this to my idiot brother back then more than a few times.
