It's the old ides of: If you're not in my side, then you're in their side. People can't see or don't want to see a third position because most can't think further or are too lazy to do it. A centrist takes more time on choosing their ideas, and even contradict themselves. For instance, maybe one centrist believe in legalize gun, while another no.

It's okay for a non-signatory to the NPT to have close to 300 nuclear weapons, but its not okay for a signatory to pursue nuclear energy, (with the potential to make 1 weapon).

It doesn't make much sense unless you insert the names Israel and Iran. In which case you can receive a Nobel Peace Prize for promoting non-proliferation by aiding the former and criminally threatening the latter.

Personally I don't care about Iran's nuclear ambitions...

Israel started it so if they are indeed persuing nukes, it's obvious that they are just responding in kind.

However, I'm curious to the responses from the Real News analysts that claimed that it was against Islamic law and that the Supreme Leader woudn't allow it even if Ahmedinijad wanted it.
