I'm 16, and my favourite christmas tradition is putting the decorations up twelve days before christmas, and sitting infront of the fire with the lights out and tree on and watching it's a wonderful life with my mum, dad and little brother with a box of celebrations on christmas eve - best day of the year.

If it didnt take so long to put the lights up and wire them all and design all the shows we'd do it 12 days before xmas as well! Thanks for sharing your tradition, sounds lovely.

I totally agree with what your saying, but I like to brighten up the street on a dark gloomy winters night and raise money for local deserving charities. It also stretches my mind and skills...being only 17 when I started doing epic shows/displays. Thanks for all the postivie comments!

Christmas spirit is about ugly lights? Christmas was originally (and still is) about the celebration of the birth of Christ,but thankfully it has grown so that non christians or people who are no longer christian can still celebrate a time of the year where there's no better place to be, than at home with your family.
