Can anyone tell us Youtube base jumping or otherwise noobs what specifically he did wrong? It's all a bit mysterious if you don't know what was the cause.

@utubesqueeze turned too low. when you turn it's a bit like a pendulum. you swing back under your canopy sometimes very fast. if you hit the ground while your still swinging back under it. sometimes lights out

@utubesqueeze Just that this low turn was not the best idea ever.as explained by Magic Malky, turning with a B.A.S.E. canopy accelerates both vertical and horizontal speed, and any base jumper would avoid that kind of turn... In particular here, he could have just go straight and land this way.

Anyway, we all make mistakes, and the best is that he could walk away from that one...

@Sixnan Oh I see. So, turning with such a parachute would be like intentionally corkscrewing/spiralling yourself faster into the ground. But he was only "35ft" away. Ouch...
