Actually, adding to my other post, I did some research and actually found out the symbols on the screen are the seals for the actual demons from the doors in "Nowhere" later on. Phaleg, Ophiel, Bethor, Aratron, Hagith, and one or two I can't identify.

Why didn't they have shots like these in the movie? No,the makers of the movie didn't understand what was so scary about Silent Hill. I bet they never played the game and if they saw something they saw something which taken out of its context made litte sense to them. Whoever wrote the screenplay for the movie should be crucified.
