And I think the Organic stage had more "lively" walls. The moai boss was four heads instead of two.
Gadien had great music. Some of it's music reminded me of the early Mega Man X games.

The "space" music is different, the snow drags you down, there are 3 of those icicle enemies together instead of one, and most enemies now have suicide bullets...

There are more changes in Loop 2(SPOILER!):
-The Plant Boss' Third form is much more faster
-Stage 7 has different level design
-A new Boss in the Boss Rush Stage
-Boost Core(Speed-up Zone Sub-boss), the flames on the jet boosters will now kill you...
-Big Ducker releases more napalm bombs at you...
-That spikey thingy at the end has a different dance pattern...

I noticed alot of the glaring changes in the loops. The snow drags you down is all I remember.
