i recently played all 3 games of half life 2 but i was a bit dissapointed in half life 2 episode 1, it was really short it was my first time playing it and i hadnt watched any videos about it or anythign and i beat it i 2 to 3 hours :( the other 2 are way better

This is truth. HL2 on Xbox looks like ass which is why I originally didn't care for the idea that the Orange Box would have HL2 on it, because I thought the graphics would be the same.

But after Episode 2 and Portal I got a wild-hair up my ass and started up HL2 and Ep1...and it looks freaking gorgeous. Most of the videos on Youtube are from the PC version and they look like crap compared to the Xbox360 and PS3 versions.

They did a great job and the games look Next-Gen despite being older.

you sure are stupid for not doing some "Half-Life" research. first of all Half-Life 2 came out on the "Normal" (and I say that with quotes cause its a predecessor to the Xbox 360 not some special machine) Xbox years before it came out on the other platforms when it came with 4 other games in one disc called The Orange Box.

You ignorant! Blu-ray is just a way of reading discs, which is, a blue ray, or laser. It has nothing to do with graphics, except maybe frames per second. PS3 and Wii have a 256mb graphics card while Xbox 360 has a 512 so Xbox has the best graphics from all the new-gen consoles. That doesn't change the fact that the controls suck on 360.

The Orange Box is definitely better than Halo 3. But I would say the multiplayer for Halo 3 is much better than Team Fortress. The zombine is the coolest enemy.

The truth is, that Xbox 360 has better graphics. Yeah, I know, PS3 has blu-ray and stuff, but the fact is that PS3 and Wii have the same graphics memory, which is 256MB. Maybe games look better on PS3, because the programmers gave the game that look. In the other hand, 360 has a 512MB Graphics card, which is the higher from al the new-gen consoles. The gameplay on Xbox360 and controllers suck, though.

Umm... the truth is you're wrong, both the PS3 and 360 have 512MB graphics, and also has 7 core processers, which is 7 TIMES as powerfull as the X-box. In theory, when developers use all 7 the games can be seven times as good graphically, and can handle 7 times more instancing. Also, Blu-ray disks can hold up to 50GB, where the X-Box disks hold 10GB. This is the reason MGS4 and Little big planet are Exclusives, because the 360 can't run them.

1: game designers sometimes decide to not make the character talk because they want the player to liket he character...sometimes the people may not like the character for what he says (like jack carver from farcry...i dont like him...)

2: i think hes an alien or anderoid or something...

3:hl2 is a full game the episodes are quite short...but yeh u get to play the whole thing...but the episodes arent as long as hl2...because they want to make half life games more frequently..
