The Mark's with Steve Morse is criminally underrated. Yes, seeing Ritchie Blackmore together with Deep Purple would be awesome but all albums with Steve Morse is still really solid and all of them are alot older than they were in Mark II so complaining about some stuff is just ridiciolous. I'd love to see something like this live!
Steve Morse is a great guitar player and musician but he will have to live 10 lifes to get even near Blackmore`s presence, charisma and geniality. As a matter of fact, DP without Ritchie is like Rolling Stone without Keith Richards AND Mick Jagger. Total waste of time.
@Skyzer08 that's Don Airey, former keyboardist of Rainbow... Jon Lord retired in 2002 and Airey took his place, with his blessing. Jon even left the Hammond B-3 he played for 34 years with the band for Don to play. this concert was Jon's "farewell" concert and Don's "welcome aboard" show.
Jon still occasionally joins the band as a guest; if you're lucky you might get to see on of those shows.
Don had previously subbed for part of a tour for Jon when Jon injured his knee the year before.
YES..That's Don Airey not LORD on Keys...what a resume that guy has now!!!!!
