  • @home5476 Christians are some of the bravest people that you will ever meet, the bible says jesus will never implement cowardice into your soul. No fear

  • To each his own. that's what I always say, it even says it in the bible to respect others no matte what their opinions etc are

  • I once told a student that was going to Iraq and was aprehensive in taking someone down with martial arts. I told him that if he was bothered by his conscience. Then think how his conscience would bother him if he shot someone when he had the chance to just take him prisoner? I believe that Jesus used martial arts when certain people that were angry and tried to grab him. The Bible doesn't say how he did it but it does say that he was able to get free.

  • this guy is a thug (good thing, aka a boss, aka really cool) . he's speaking the truth

  • Well spoken..Fighting is the last resorts and the true essence of self-defense in martial arts. In all religions there so much hypocrisy. From christian to muslim countries they will defend they're territory from attack. In the bible king david, moses, samson we're warriors and Jesus told pilates you can't do nothing to me or a region of angels will defend me. Avoid fights at all cost seek peace, but if evilness want's to harm you, your love ones by any cost trust God and fight it at any cost.

  • while Christians seem to fall short of bravery and instead of standing firm towards the blade of death they crumble before it even strikes. The bible says blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness ,for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.Matt 5 10-11

  • Agent of evil? I believe the agent of evil is the one causing Christians to believe they should not fight back, and die off as the examples of early martyr in the biblical times.I 'm sure the world is destined for failure but I'm not sure its the lords plan for Christians to be of such poor example to others whom look towards him for guidance. people involved in worldly pleasures seem to stand strong and attack righteously in their own minds.

  • I share your faith & as a martial artist myself I have seen the judgement U speak of. I humblely suggest that U forego any apologies. You have nothing 2 apologise 4. May The LORD Bless U & your mission. With respect as a fellow servent of GOD, Matt

  • im glad you are a christian ,you found god and jesus this is fantastic. you are an

honest person . i hope you carry on with your good work dont let peaple dictate.

  • There was a fire in my church building some years ago. The head Pastor came and saved the day. He had a black belt in some matial art. He swiftly broke open the large doors after evry one had tried using force.

  • I should also like to say that you reflect more of the character of Christ in how you are responding to your detractors than many long-time Christians that I have known. I hope you'll continue to be "just a humble sensei" who loves Jesus. Gambatte okudasai! And God bless!

  • This was an...interesting video. I have seen a few of your videos and have enjoyed them. I have as a devout Christian particularly appreciated the unassuming manner in which you instruct and the "God bless you and your whole entire family" thing at the end of your clips. I have been a follower of Christ for over thirty years, the son of a Baptist pastor, and as such can tell you that nothing you're teaching in your clips conflicts with Christ's command to "turn the other cheek."

  • Keep up the great work Sensei. I also train in martial arts. I pray that the lord will use me as he is using you through martial arts. I will pray for you. I was truly blessed by this video.

  • I love this video!! You makes some AWESOME points. :)

  • People actually tell you that you will burn in hell for teaching martial arts? Why do they say that? How can they believe something so ignorant?

I can't figure out why you have so many people criticizing you, you have some of the best channels on youtube.

  • very well said, GOD bless you!

  • "If you want to kill or harm others, do unto your self first XD" PRICELESS!!!!

  • thanks 4 saying this it makes me feel better about doing martial arts

  • To turn the other cheek I believe requires profound awareness ,calmness and spiritual insight such as Christianity. Such skills enable say the practitioner to practice the art of self defence without striking the attacker and diffusing the situation so that both the defender and potential assiliant retains face, or the practitioner diverts the would be attacker away without them being aware.

Some would call this active pacifm

  • I'm sorry, i have to disagree with one of your statements.

Jesus is the ONLY way to God :)

Anyway, there are certain martial arts, that teaches about "spiritual" stuff, telling u to tap into the spritual realm and what not... i dunno im no expert... but what do you have to say about those?

  • The right to self defense is a universal right. You are in the right path sir!

  • You have helped me a lot!! I am a follower of Jesus, but I am also in martial arts. For the longest time, I was struggling with whether that was okay, or if I had to give it up. I finally came to an answer, and your video here has helped me further strengthen that answer. God bless! And I'll see you in heaven! ;)

  • I will sure pray my brother ... Oh I forgot to mention Peter ... Who carried a weapon at all times. Violence is nothing more than a tool ... what makes it evil or righteous is it's use ...people who don't believe in righteous use of violence have to re-read the Bible. Without violence and warfare Israel would not survive ... I hope my 2 cents of wisdom help you my friends ... be blessed Shalom

  • Excellent video ... One on my favorite characters in the Old Testament was King David ... a man after God's own heart. David was in my opinion one of the greatest hand to hand combat masters that ever lived. God equip 300 servants of Abraham to go against several military groups. God used Samson ... Joshua ... etc. And for those who say that this was for those times only .... Jesus asked the Disciples if they had any weapons .. they said "we have some" Jesus said ... good that is sufficient.

  • There is a time for everything. The Hebrew word for bread, is the root word of the Hebrew word war for.War, in order to sustain life.G-d has many warriors depicted in the Bible.Fighting is the last resort, but if life is at stake, then a man must do what is necessary. Also, I want to bring to attention the fact that when Yahshua said "judge not lest ye be judged", he wasn't telling us not to judge, he was telling us not to be hippocrates.Christianity has forgotten that Yahshua preached the Torah.

  • Amen brother, I respect you and what you do. I think it's freakin awesome that you are a God fearing Christian who has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and at the same time a martial artist who can defend himself physically and refuse to be a victim.

  • Jesus had a plan to see through and he has and I thank him for that. However Jesus can kick ass like no one else so I think he would want us to do the same when we are backed against the wall. So we should defend our selfs if we need to.

  • Im an atheist, but I agree completely, no one has the right to tell you what to believe, and everyone has the right to protect themselves and those they love.

  • A major factor concerning martial artists is one's motive for taking it. If you are taking it simply to learn how to hurt people, Christian or not, that negates the very purpose of the arts. You can learn that anywhere. I am a Christian Martial Artist, and once I realized I could really hurt someone, it compelled me to work on controlling my temper and emotions, and to find other ways, if at all possible, of handling conflict. If the motives are right, the arts can serve as a Christian well.

  • Most Christians take "turn the other cheek" as advocating total pacifism, even in the face of deadly violence. They take this out of cultural context. To strike someone in the face with the left hand was one of the most grave insults one could make, since in that time (and still in some places in the arab world) the left hand is the "wiping hand". Jesus was only advocating ignoring insults, no matter how grave. He did not advocate not defending oneself or others against deadly violence.

  • Thank you for standing for Christ.

  • AMEN HUMBLESENSEI! WHat you speak is Truth, I believe! I desperately wish that I could set up a Christian dojo near me.

You are doing the right thing - why? If people (especialy "Christians" do not attack you, you aren't doing good for God ;) People like you, who KNOW God and KNOW the Truth make Satan nervous! You are a blessing indeed!

    God bless!

  • Keep doing your Martial Arts! God Bless you.

  • Thank you Sensei.

  • @HumbleSensei I am a Conservative Christian Martial Artist. I couldn't agree with you more. I think that everything you are doing is wonderful. I support you 100+%. I am praying for you and your family as well. Keep up the amazing work! I hope that you have a wonderful day as well! Good luck with everything and God Bless!!

  • Burn in Hell for teaching martial arts?! Thats just crazy!

I have 2 very amazing Instructors(one 5th dan, the other 6th dan) who lead a Christian Taekwondo School. I have grown more in not only my physical level, but also in my Christian life. I applied my discipline/respect/determination from becoming a black belt to my Christian walk. I think Christianity and Martial Arts can be a powerful combination. I look forward for more videos.

  • martial arts is about hurting others not just protecting yourself. the pagans in buddism under the inspiriation of thier occult ideas of yin and yang develop the art to kill...jesus said i have come that they might have life...he didnt come to hurt someone

  • wow god loves me so much that he created something that he knows what i like martial arts not just any martial art but CHRISTIAN MARTIAL ARTS great job humble Amen !!!

  • I see nothig wrong in things that are martial, as long as the True God is given credence....and is attributed the victory.....GO CHOSUN NINJA!

  • I am christian I was in Kung Fu for 2 years.

Martial Arts is good to have.

Christians have a right to defend themselves just as much as any one else does. ~ Chuck Norris is a christian.

    keep preaching Brotha!

  • Jesus is the propitiation of our sins.

He came to save the "lost, perished and destroyed." Many people have skipped over this part in the bible, but it's true. God wills all mankind to be saved. And his will "will" be done (on earth as in heaven). It is Jesus that is in us (not-us in Jesus). It's funny how whatever God says in the bible, everyone translates it as being the opposite of what he says, well with most fundementalists anyway. It doesn't matter though...

    ALL IS SAVED! REJOICE!

  • God works through us. Whatever happens is God's will. God created everything, both good and evil, and uses both to bring about a higher purpose. Jesus is in us, not us in Jesus.

God has a plan for everyone. He wills his purpose into our lives. God loves his children and we will all know one day. And God "wills all mankind to be saved." Special note: This means it is definite, not void, utterly true, ALL MANKIND WILL BE SAVED, so in case you are not listening. Yes, it says so in the Bible!!!!!

  • Of course those who has not repended their sins and not received Jesus as a personal saviour will not be saved. Because the Bible says Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and no one guys to Heaven but through Jesus in faith. :))

Just wanted to make this clear, so that people wouldn't misunderstand what you said :) Because that is what the Bible (Jesus) says.

  • thank you sensei,

I wish I could be your pupil.

    yours sincerely... joe

  • Thank you

  • My brother, I share your pain and encourage you to endure. It is not only brave of you to continue to do what you believe to be true but it is exactly what a man should do. You display character and resilience along with faith. All that is needed to win the race. I too face the same ridicule here in Australia but we must hold strong in the faith and encourage one another as missionaries in our own countries. Even Christ was not welcome in his own home town. Keep going.

  • You wont burn in hell

  • I really love this video. It speaks to my heart. I wish you would do more of these videos. People really need to know more about Jesus as well as Martial Arts. Thanks. Shelton

  • Brother I appreciate you see past people ONLY looking at "turn the other cheek" & also look to King David ("a man after God's own heart); Joshua; etc... mighty warriors who defended God's honor many times.

I too was sensei for many years and left martial arts upon being born again, as that was the path God set for me - but I would not be so arrogant as think that God has set that requirement for all.

Keith Schwartz 6th dan Jujitsu, 5th dan Judo (retired) karate is NOT intrisically sinful.

  • Amen brother. People are quick to judge, but all they have to do is pick up and read the bible. We (as followers of the Lord) have the right to defend ourselves. We can see it thru out the Bible. Yet they don't understand what it means "to turn the other cheek." Jesus was speaking about PRIDE (aka honor). Not about being a pacifist. People take it out of context or don't understand the culture of the people Jesus was preaching to at that time and place. God Bless You.

  • People who told you that you're going to burn in hell because of teaching martial arts, they don't know their own religion. It's sad that many people know a little about Christianity and talk nonsense. I'm a Catholic and I have no problems with training Kyokushin Karate. You're good Sensei. Thank you for the videos

  • Well, we R all "God's children" but its jus that some R goin forwards, some R goin backwards, some R standin still, uhh.

Following Jesus is another way of stepping on the path to Enlightenment. That's what He wanted for us. Learning to listen to the voice of God within (intuition) is the way to find what is right for U + how + when to act in the world.

Of course, that does not mean becoming a doormat for everyone. Many will wipe their feet on U without asking anyway..... if U let them.

  • Christianity is not a belief systems that says Jesus was a hipy dude always saing "peace man, peace". in fact in the bible the lord helped guid and empower those who were the children of god when atackers came to steal kill and destroy. as much as your earthly father desires to protect you and make you strong against you enemys so does you heveanly father.

some say God should destroy the devil right now yet that same person shall say God doesnt promote violence. How then would God destroy him?

  • I believe that God dose give us all the right to defend ourselfs that is True. Jesus Christ never defended himself against his enemys because he was too powerful,He gave his life and that was his purpose. To die for all of our sins.

  • I will keep my Promise I will serve the lord with all my Heart. Godbless Choson thankyou for your great videos.

  • Sensei, It is always amazing to me, when we have the mind of Christ, that believers can think so differently amongst ourselves. I too, am a Christian Martial Artist, and use it as a tool, as I do many other things, including being a Christian Psychotherapist, to shine the light toward the one and only true God, Jesus the Christ. Those outside cannot understand, nor should we expect them to. So, I applaud your endeavors and your heart, as well as your mind, for they resemble that of Jesus.

  • Great message, keep posting.

  • thank you sensei, i have been struggling with this for a while. I would often question why as a Christian i would practice Jeet Kune Do, i thought i was sinning and advocating violence but ultimately i was busy looking at the finger rather than where its pointing at

  • The Lord is a warrior, and the Lord never changes. the warrior does not carry his sword for nothing. Props Brotha !!!

  • you have every right as a Christian to defend your self, after all Israel had to many times against its enemies.

  • Those who are believers and attack those who practice self defense forget that the Bible talks about war and allows His children to defend themselves. The truth is there for all who have ears to hear.

  • i would like to assist you in praying for the 4 victims of tibet....if they are still victims there or maybe they become free?

  • i liked also the end very very much sensei

  • sansei u r very blessed , i will pray for u. and to those who judge "those who judge will be judged at the throne of god"

  • It makes me very upset that people speak to you that way. I will pray for you! You have my respect and i want you to continue to share your faith in Jesus with us all as we will send it back. People nowadays need to seek the light again. Keep up what your doing because you are actually helping people, not just with fighting or sharing religion, but the people you communicate with want to better themselves and it is wonderful!

  • I am a very conservative Christian and I find nothing wrong with your martial arts so long as it is defense oriented and does not promote aggression outside of that defense. Paul also said, one man can eat meat and another cannot.

Just so you know, I too train in and teach the martial arts - multiple arts. God bless you brother and keep up the faith.

  • first time I came across your channel! Great message!

  • Oh My Gosh!! I love it. You defended yourself awesomely and with great humility. First off, anyone who has an idea of what true martial arts is can tell that it is not about violence. This is just another example of how the worlds understanding is backwards. I especially loved how you gave respect to others for what they believed in. I respect the person for their decision, because it's their God given right not to believe. God isn't going to make anyone go to Heaven. It's their choice.

  • We all, Christians and everyone else, have to be careful not to be self righteous. I am no better than anyone. But I am no worse either.

I wont push my faith in God on others, but if someone asks my opinion, I will tell them.

I know you are not perfect, but neither am I. Thanks for your videos. I will pray for you. Can you pray for me?

  • But of course! What else can brothers in Christ do?

  • Hi, I am a conservative Christian, but I do not think you are an 'agent of evil'. I don't agree with everything you say, but I don't agree with everything from other 'conservative Christians', except my wife..;-0

I have no problem with self defense. I have no problem defending others from evil. I do not think martial arts in itself is evil.

  • very emotional, very true. respect humblesensei!

  • Nice vid.

  • Yahweh doesn't save with sword and spear: for the battle is Yahweh's...

    *1 Samuel 17:47*

Peace to you brother. :) You speak truth.

  • 1.Praise be to the Yahweh my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.

2.He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold & my deliverer, my sheild, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.

    *Psalms 144:1-2*

  • Amen, sensei.

  • What you say is truth. Fear not the words of critics. If in your mind and body and spirit you have filled yourself with God's love, even in death you can never be defeated.

  • "The only thing Evil needs in order to rule the world is for good men to do nothing." - Movie: Tears of the Sun with Bruce Willis.

"The ways of Good are many, some become doctors, healing and curing poison, others become warriors, killing the snake." - Freehand quote from "Without Remorse" by Tom Clancy.

    Strength and Honor,

    V.

  • the first quote was not invented by the movie makers, you should know who said it ... shame on you :)

  • You're saying the truth Sensei God bless u, i don't care what nobody says, I sense people's vibrations. what's wrong with being god's worrior? god has his worriors among the angels who fight against evil, like archangel Micheal. Devil exists among us and works through many people, and god told us to protect ourselves from his tyranny with all means includin physical fight if he starts it first. keep doin what ur doin and we support you !

  • Oh yeah

"bow" (respectfully not in a worshiping way)

  • You will burn in Heaven, with happiness, alongside Jesus.

God bless you for all you have done and taught to the world.

    Your Fan

    Dalai

  • You are a credit to both the faith and the warrior journey

  • Even though I never grew up with religion and therefor never been much of a religious person, I find all your philosophis very inspiring, wise and interesting. You are a truly great rolemodel, and I'm sure lots of Youtube viewers who otherwise never think about religion have given Christianity a chance and found greater happiness with it, thanks to you.

  • LOl... Loved the last comment sir. But I need help geting back into touch with god. Can you help?

  • How can I help you with God?

  • I don't know tell me where to begin... I been so out of touch since my 12th grade year. Matter of fact... which I feel bad about still, being an satanist. guess, I Stab my self with gods shionbigatana, I guess.

  • REPENT! True repentance is when you know your doing something wrong, don't do it. That alone is the first step to getting closer to God. The rest you have to seek the light and come out of darkness. I suggest you pray sincerely to God and read the Bible. That is the beginning stage for all.

  • i knew u were christian, somehow, nice man

  • Martial arts bears a wisdom from God. Thus, involving in martial arts is a balance expression in life for the common good of all. Nice wisdom, sensei.

  • hey sir.. where do u live? I'm a taekwondo master teaching in manhattan as a person in charge there.. I'm also doing martial arts mission.. plz reply

  • Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA. USA

  • oh ic.. that's kinda far but..

Good to see that masters with jesus..

  • well said!

  • I gotta show my mom this

  • good commentary and wise words.

My conscience is clear to ingrain the second-natured-skills to take lives. However, when the local baptist ministry asked me to teach the girls self-defense, my conscience won't let me do it. I believe the will is more important than the brain, followed by the skill: sometime to protect/save others, you must be willing to kill Hope for the best prepare for the worst I don't think they can adapt to this mindset Have you ever had problem with this, sensei Park???

  • Read Palms 144. My hands are prepared.

  • you are a honest man sensei!

and that's good for you, and your relation with God!

i practicied martial arts but i stoped because i didnt felt that God teachings and martial arts teachings can mix!

you dont have to apologise before me or anyone else , God is the only one that can judge us well!

    GOD BLESS!

  • god is creator, so why would he not one us; his children that he made in his image.. to not do the same?.. i believe that we can do no wrong when all we do is good.. our mission here on earth can only be to learn and respect others as we do so together.. im pretty sure that god learns from us as much as we learn from him...

  • Amen bro to Christian Martial Arts. I like to pratice and teach karate and use the gift that God gave me to serve and glorify Him. I am in the youn wha ryu association which is lead by an awesome christian korean, Grand Master Han. I am also apart of a group called Karate For Christ. well anyways

    -God Bless

  • I'm reminded of the story of David, he was the apple of God's eye, but he also defended his land and his people. he also conquered the Jebusite fortress of Jerusalem and made it his capital.

So to teach the ways or to practice the ways of defending yourself and others is not wrong at all, David defended himself and his people from Goliath and many other enemies. God did not condemn him for that because David was in the right.

Also martial arts and Christianity both teach to avoid conflict

  • God bless you

  • I pray the Lord would continue to keep you fighting the Good fight, and that you would be blessed for following path of Righteousness. God Be With You.

  • Keep teaching and expressing what ever you want Sensei Park, know that it helps people and in return that feeling of helping another person{s} will make us as individuals conscientiously feel better about our decisions in life.

  • You are what you want to be, and you're right no one can dictate what we want to do, it is as simple as that. It's not a law or constitutional right for us to say or do what we want, it's a natural human instinct. Sure there are people who oppose us and say or do whatever ridiculous thing to hurt us. But bottom line is, no one can stop us from doing whatever we want feel is right. At least this is an opinion from a Daoist who respects and wants to understand other's beliefs and religions.

  • You certainly will not burn in hell lol...

Only a person who knows nothing about the bible will say something like that

  • Thank you very much for this video. I have many elders in my church who keep telling me to stop my training. They tell me that the violence will stain my heart or something mystical about attracting evil spirits! But like you, I also see martial arts as my relationship with Christ. Without martial arts, I would not have gained confidence, or respect or love for all those around me.

  • The only thing I can say is tell the elders to talk to the Holy Spirit inside of us and convince me that I am not sealed. What part of this do they not understand. When your in Christ, God does not kick people out. Only people do. God is not someone who takes back salavation but gives generously. HE is also rich with mercy.

Jesus said, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice!"

  • Dear master Park, thank you for this kind video !

Service to others is indeed the most difficult form of devotion and requires the most important part of humility. The man who humbles himself in the name of God and becomes a helper to others, may bow low in the eye of others, but he is at the same time elevated in the Eye of God.

    Your brother in God

    Vincent from France

  • I will pray for you, Your a true Sensei. *bow*

  • I feel shocked that some people would judge such a great man like Sensei, all he is trying to do is make a difference in life and thos people wish he burns in hell just because he is teaching martial arts to people that can not afford to go to a martial arts gym. I feel very sad for Sensei, because h has done nothing wrong. For thos that believe he should burn in hell, I have nothing to say to yous. For people that dont think he should burn in hell, pray for him that he doesnt, but he wont.

  • sadly some people rather replace love understanding n respect for fire and brimstone

your words show what is in your hart.

  • I am sorry, i do not understand what you are trying to say to me. Please explain.

  • very well put

  • "For HIM to become great, I need to become less". I love that statement :).

  • Absolutely you are right! I agree with you 100%. I am Christian, I love Jesus Christ. I also practice Yoga and Zen. Some Christian friends see me strangely but I am what I am. Watch and concentrate on breathing through Yoga and Zen I could get feeling our Lord Jesus Christ is everywhere and anytime. So that my knowledge about Jesus become deeper I guess.

  • Will pray for the people with you. I respect Jesus with you. Thank you for this video. Piperlady56

  • well said

  • Rock on Master, ignore the crazy radicals. Jesus himself advocated having the ability to defend one's self. If good people cannot stand up against the the bad, then horrible things are bound to happen. Keep doing what you're doing, it's truly good for mankind.

  • Dearest Master,

I am very grateful for your request to join in pray for the human rights of the Tibetan People, I am with you.

It is strange that are some persons that have difficulties to accept that you are a great warrior of the Light.

    Sincerely your Italian student.

    Stefano

  • Thanks sensei!God bless you and your family!*bow*

  • tell them your not a monk martial arts is just a effective way of defending yourself its not killing people

  • I dont really believe in a god, but i truely respect every religion. But even if i dont believe in a god, i still live the way you want to teach because I really think it is right to love and to respect every person on this planet in the same way. I dont believe in god but I believe in a way of living in peace and sharing my love. Keep on going, you are great! I love your philosophy videos very much :) Thank you very much! *bow*

  • When Jesus said, "turn the other cheek" he was not saying we should not defend ourselves. Slapping someone on the cheek was not so much a physical attack asit was an insult. If the aim was top attack they would not have struck the cheek. They would have choosen a vital target. Jesus was saying to not get violent over an insult. At least that's how I see it. I am a Christian and a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo.

  • you are awesome, humblesensei. one thing, however- i thought ninjas assassinate people for money, not self defense... hmm. good points, i think you are very right. god bless those people in tibet.

  • i h8 no one in life but when someone does anything to harm other people or me i usually think killing or hurting them but idk if that's bad thing to think or even do but i it's a right thing to dob/c sometime violance can be tought as lesson in this world, anyway for what i said, i think ur doing the right thing here sensei. god bless u

  • out there..Never give up Greg..keep the faith and rememeber your friends fellow marital artists, family, loved ones, and students will always apppricate your time and effort to share your knowledge and skill with us.

  • It's bad enough sensei you have to defend yourself against closed minded martial artists but now some folks of the general public? Unfortunately some people come on to you tube and just make disrespectful comments..to those who choose to share their talents, like these videos, musicians who choose to share their talent and put themselves

  • or it can be warped..how many wars, hardships have been becuae one group said that all others have to worship in the same fashion?

Martial arts are not to go and hurt others..it is to stop violence...to protect oen's self, loves and friends...and its a personal reason why people study the arts. Maybe those who critise you Sensei need to learn about the philosophy of the arts. In order to have a civilised debate one must understand the other side..not just say you're wrong and I'm right.

  • Go gave us free choice..some folks choose to study martial arts, some folks choose not to. Some folks are active in their place of worship and have strong faith. Other's are not..one's faith is just that their own. Some are outgoin in how they worship..some folks are quiet and keep it to themselves. We have no right to judge others and say well you're not my idea of a Chrisitan/Musilm/Buddhist or whatever faith they have. Religion can be a wonderful thing...

  • Chrisitans and folks of other faiths/beliefts study the Martial arts. Not everyone studies the arts for self defence or to learn to fight. Some folks do it for exercise, to develop one's character, spirituality reasons. If they study it for the rason to keep the arts alive then thats fine. It's not to run to the local bar get drunk and pick a fight. What happens if they are mugged on the street and give there other person their money etc and the attacker escalates?

  • Great points Greg...there are times when folks have to fight to defend their belifes, self protection, to defend those who can't defend themselves. Soliders, Airmen/women, Sailors, Marines have Chrisitans, and non Christians. They fight because they feel a calling to defend hteir fellow countrymen, their homeland and in some cases to go defend others in this world that cannot fight. Ie) Afghasitan, Iraq. And Christians, and folks of other faiths study martial arts.

  • i will pray for you everyday ! you are wonderfull person! thank you so much for helping me

  • well said greg. teach with love and i will always be on your side, friend.

  • good people dont burn in hell

as far as i remember is that u had problems in life till u found your faith and jesus and it made u become such a respected person and a loved person im my case i accept u like a brother in mind even if im not christian but people should understand that nearly every relgion teaches the same and martial arts contra christianity? what a about the templar knights who were (originally) only fighting to defend their people?

  • sometimes u have to fight to show your faith doesnt matter in what u believe the problem is not that you fight the only thing thats discussable is the reason why you or anyone else fights

i fully stand behind you for fighting to make people think peace-oriented and me as an taoist stand behind you i guess thats proof enough that u dont want people to have the faith like you and that u tolerate every other religion as long as they have the same principles like you

    Cheers Cheerok

  • It's unfortunate that you've seen so much resistance due to your faith. I agree with you about many things. Being a Christian and a sensei myself, I understand. Defending yourself is necessary, even for those at a church. Any one read the news about the guy in Colorado gunning down people at the local churches? More and more, even Christians are going to need to defend themselves against those listening to the principalities and powers of this world. God bless you sensei and keep teaching.

  • wow um you seem to respond well with virtualy any insult or anything lol thats the wisdom of the Lord for ya

  • I Pray for you sensei!

    *bow*

  • My respects to you Sensei!

When i watched this video about faith, i heard view simmilarities in as my view, altough i am not the all knowing, you said the correct words that only God/Allah can see in youre heart. My relligion is Islam, i do believe in Prophet Jesus as i do believe in all the prophets who praised Islam. And i do not believe that teaching Martial is wrong as so long u use it in a peace full way.

    Peace,respect and honour!

  • yes i agree with you i to was totaly blown away with all your work that you do.i love wathing your videos and have learned loads please please keep on making many more thank you and bless you all.

  • I found your vidoes very interesting and at times compelling. This video really expresses the problems in the Christian community to simply loves each other regardless of our differences. As long as we strive to live right before God keeping Him first can others see what we are really about. I will pray for you as I ask humbly for your prayers as we continue on our journey as martial artist. God Bless!!

  • You are a remarkable person. Please continue to make videos and post them here on youtube. When I came across your page I was blown away. You set a very good example. It's a shame that some people will perceive your intentions the wrong way. I will continue to watch. Thank you! God Bless!

  • hm.. i dont have much to say, but please know that i will support you and pray for you whenever need be.

  • i am prying for them all beacause no one show be left be hind and i fel bad for them all.i am a chrstain and i do marstil arts.i belve he hleps me

  • Words very true. I would say Greg you made valid and logical points to the critics. I find it annoying that people would say because someone follows Christ they should just roll over and be a victim. I believe that God knowing the world in which we live expects us to protect our loved ones and ourselves.Evil will not respect good. There are too many victims in the world and alot of good people turn a blind eye to it. Keep up the good work and be true to yourself and belief. Peace and honor.

  • Master Park, excellent video! I'm a christian too, my religion is Greek orthodox. The critics who slander you, are not intelligent, nor do they know the real meaning of faith. What you are showing is so wonderful, please keep posting more video's. I learn a lot from you. Thank you and God bless.
