Cornelius was most definitely an Israelite. Acts 15:15 says as it was written, and it was talking about the whole prophecy written in Amos 9.

Amos 9:9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

Thats why we cant judge people on their outward appearance, cuz those gentiles yall are talking about are Israelites according to the flesh.

The promises of Abraham do suggest that the nations will be blessed thru him & also will partake of the blessing. This is why even his non hebrew servants were circumcised with him. I need irrefutetable proof on your claim about Cornelius. We also like to point out that the the bloodline is determined by who your father is and Timothys dad was a Greek & his mom was a Jew this is why he couldn,t go on temple grounds because the Jews would try to stone him.

I just told you, it says as it was written, its referring to the prophecy in Amos 9. If Cornelius was an Edomite, that would mean he was wicked, cuz Malachi 1st chapter tells you he is wicked, and that the Most High hates him, and Obadiah 18 says ALL Edomites will be destroyed. The Most High is not the author of confusion. Acts 10 says Cornelius was a devout man and always prayed to the Most High, and he and his family feared the Most High. Thats not something the wicked would do(Psalms 58:3)

Amos says Israel will possess the remnant of EDOM and of all the HEATHEN(goyim) which are called BY MY NAME. In Deut.28:10 God said Israel was called by his name, so it seems these Edomites and heathen are righteous remnants from among their people like the righteous remnant from our own nation.So I still see Cornelius as a heathen (gentile) not Edom. Also, we won't oppress aliens who may be our hewers of wood and drawers of water.They'll do these jobs IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

Isaiah 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Israel is scattered among all nations. There are more Israelites than any other nation.

Naw ahch,Im under the impression that the destruction of Edom refers to their power as a government and kingdom because of their treatment of Israel. I believe in the resurrection and if the apocrypha is any indication, some Edomites who were converted by John Hycranus fought and died for our struggle against the Greeks. Christ will judge the individuals even though the power of their nation is demolished. Deut.23:7,8 tells us how to treat the righteous individuals of Edom who come to the Lord.

Obadiah 18 says there will be none remaining of the House of Esau.

Psalms 106:34: They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

35: But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

36: And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

And there is more in that chapter

I always say when in doubt see what "Jesus" had to say about it:

Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Something to consider is the Samaritan woman at the well. What is a fact is that in 2Kings 17 (whole chapter) we learn the 10 tribes (Samaria) were put out and scattered by the Assyrians & replaced by 7 Goyim nations. So in John 4:1-42 her surprise at Christ asking for water is CLEARLY understandable and if you without bias read these text you'll have to admit the truth that she and the others with her were descendants of the heathen replacements and not Jews but Christ taught and they believed.

If someone believes and follows the word like they supposed to, theyre an Israelite. Its common sense that a cursed and scattered nation was mingled throughout all nations.

Read Psalms 147:19-20

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

The Most High dont change, all Edomites will be destroyed.

I Love You ahch, Your zeal is admirable.I agree if anyone,not just Israel according to the flesh, believes and follows the word they are Israel in their spirit.Acts 10:34-45 and Is.56:6-8 and Rm.9:6 and Rm.2:28&29. Israel is not consumed but is the minority (tail) among the nations. And the Lord says we were the fewest among the nations at our inception Deut.7:7,8 and Deut.4:26,27. Please read these. Israel will be like the stars for multitude when Prophecy is totally fulfilled.

Let me clear something up, are you saying that a person that looks like a so called white man cannot be an Israelite according to the flesh? I know of a few people who teach that madness. There is a reason why "Jesus" said we had to preach the gospel to all nations, cuz his people were scattered throughout all nations, and over time(were talking thousands of years) they start to look just like Moabites, Edomites, Ammonites etc.

As far as this point my uncle aand brother have produced children that look white because of their mothers genes. This doesn't mean they ARE white because they still are considered Israel (according to the flesh) thru their fathers'. But the scriptures I gave you ,you haven't commented on. And we know that Jesus still blessed a few samaritans that he called "dogs" because of their persistent faith that caused him to say her faith was great. Mk.7:24-30 and Mt.15:21-28

I'm never discouraged by differences of view. It's clear we both know scripture. But to come to the oneness in doctrine, you have to be willing to reason like Paul's custom was and always search the entire word like the brethren of Berea. I don't disagree with any text you presented, only your interpretation. You never commented on what you see in the text's I presented and I'm willing to go further than the internet.
