@seemyexkurrrzun pick up the august 2011 issue of cycle world. pg 44. kawaski zx6r 1:54.65 vs 1:54.29 for rsv4 vs 1:54.11 for s1000rr vs 1:55.33 for 1198 vs 1:54.65 for zx10 vs 1:56.05 848 vs 1:55.34 gsxr750 vs 1:55.58 on 675 vs 1:54.85 on gsxr 1k at inde motorsports ranch ridden by Mark Cernicky a multi time AMA, CCS, and WERA champ. suspersport machines (literbikes) hold most of the track records, with a few supersport records out there. oh and i race an 07 cbr600rr.

@seemyexkurrrzun on tighter tracks with slower corners the lighter more flickable middle weight bike will win, but tracks with faster turns and longer straights the literbikes own. i have beaten and been beaten by literbikes on the track. misterhookerx3 the 600rr has not beaten the 1000rr on every track every time. the 600rr has been motorcycle of the year many more times than the 1krr has, but thats due to many other factors than trackwork.
